The Suns have a team option on Nash so they could choose to simply release Nash. That would be unwise for them but you'll never know from Sarvar. And if it does happen, I think it would be unwise for us to sign him for anything more than the MLE. He has injury concerns (that back is always a concern), and is getting too old now. I would love to have Nash on this team, but there is a limit to that.

I think he will and I think it would be great for the team and basketball in general in TO

- the local media would be all over it.
- it would help attract FA's to TO
- he could come in as a back up, still get around 30 mins a game and still be a guy who can have the ball in his hands in the final seconds. Jose can shoot play him off ball in offensive situations to close out a game.
- Nash would be great for young players development

That line-up would be a killer if everyone can stay healthy, however, I doubt McGrady's knee can hold up with D'Antoni's fast pace seeing as his knees are washed up…

I think Nash coming to TO would be a Marketing Bonanza. Everybody around these parts is going to eat up all over it. And what the other poster said was right. Nash despite his age is very good in crunch time and Nash could make a end game play and Jose can be the 2 and make a game winning shot. He may be coming off the bench, but he would still play decent minutes here. And I guarantee that Triano knows how to use Nash effectivly even at his age and having Jose and Nash play effectivly together.
