CB4 Tweets to congratulate JT

Post#1 » by israeli_jordan » Mon May 11, 2009 10:45 pm

From @chrisbosh:

Congrats to Jay Triano!

At the VERY least - with all the pessimism surrounding this move on here today - can we agree that it's good to have your superstar player coming out publicly and supporting the hiring of Jay ?

That's surely a good thing.

Well considering it's a move that CB4 supports, at least we can assume that for the time being, he is content with the hiring of JT and hopefully this signals the team heading in a direction that BC, JT and CB4 have a consensus on.

Time and time again, BC has stated he's a consensus guy and takes the opinions of his coaches and star players into account-- perhaps Sam Mitchell (who was constantly asking for rebounding/big man help) was holding the team back from making any moves in a different direction?

WHO knows?

What's good at least is that CB4 is not obligated by the team to make any sort of statement about this- it's not like they invited him to the PC to give his prepared statement about how he supports the move.

The fact that he's doing it personally is a good thing.

Can't you guys read between the lines? He's clearly demanding a trade. Note the contraction of the word "congratulations" to simply "congrats" (intentionally showing disrespect), and the single lone exclamation mark ending the sentence (two or more are necessary to show genuine excitement).

He was OBVIOUSLY being sarcastic in congratulating Jay! He already texted BC and told him he has no plans to be extended.
