Not trying to be a dick, but something just rubbed me the wrong way...

In the topic just posted: Should the Raps get AI, "Little Ozzy" said this...

"This topic has already been talked about at length.

He's not coming here."

...and locked the thread, just as I was about to post something.

Now, I understand the mods have a tough job, especially on the Raptor board (we're the like the biggest fans!), sorting through all the posts and trying to keep some semblance of order. I appreciate the effort of all the mods, but sometimes, like in this case, I think they get a little carried away.

Stopping a thread because you have an OPINION that you seem to value as fact ( AI is not coming here ) doesn't seem too cool to me.

Yes, I agree, AI most likely will never be a Raptor, but stranger things have happened. I don't see the harm in discussing it, especially if there are enough people who would like to do just that.

Who knows, maybe AI ends up having to settle for a 1 year Vets minimum contract to prove he can still be a difference maker. Why not with us? Not likely, but definitely worse discussing.

Just my 2 cents!

BC has said that AI will not be signed because of chemistry issues. So Ozzy had a legit reason. Its not like he locked it because he did not think it would happen. Go ahead and open a thread about Marbury and I am sure it will not be locked.

If you actually paid attention to this board, you will notice that we get an Iverson thread created atleast once a day, and twice today because of you, congratulations buddy you got your attention, would you like a medal?

The original thread locking had nothing to do with my opinion. It was locked simply because we have had endless AI threads since the start of the off season.
