OT: Basketbawful: Livin' Large

The guy at Basketbawful has this series going where he talks about his freshman year at college when he lived with a 7'1 centre on his school's basketball in the same room. It is absolutely hysterical. I cannot stop reading the stories. The series is at 25 or so parts now, I'm at part 14 and its one of the best reads on the internet in a long time. I'm sure some of you have seen this (TrueHoop had it linked) but for those who haven't it is a MUST READ. I promise you won't regret it. It is one of the funniest things I have ever read.

Note: This is the first installment of a multi-part story about the first semester of my freshman year in college. During that semester, I lived with a member of the men's basketball team. That team was nationally ranked and featured a future NBA All-Star. Some of you already know where I went to school, others may suspect, and still others might figure it out over the course of this narrative. Nonetheless, I don't plan to divulge the name of the school, players or coaches involved. Other names might also be changed to protect the innocent.

(You can figure out who the guy he lives using the clues he gives out)

skimmed through a few pages...this guy sounds like a huge passive aggressive, socially inept dork

I'd rather room with the 7 footer than this type of kid

this is actually a pretty good read, dudes a pretty good writer imo... haha he does seem socially inept at times but its not as if hes unaware of it he pokes fun at himself throughout most of the posts

Cuz yeah, insulting the author who obviously put a lot of work into this was the whole purpose of this thread.

This is an amazing read. Although the vicarious feeling of regret i get from all the amazing chances he passed up on (roommate's hookup's probably hot friends/taking advantage of being one of the biggest pussy-magnets in the college's roomates) meeting and speaking to glenn robinson, not playing dungeons and dragons...etc etc.
