With the reports of how Reggie Evans is making Bargnani into a more aggressive and assertive player, I just can't frikkin wait already for the season to start.

Andrea needs a Reggie beard and then they need to become plane buddies.

Anyone feeling like a photoshop project?

I'm too lazy to do it right now, but Bargs sporting a Travis Bickle superimposed mohawk would be pretty menacing

Relax Guys.. This is just the PR machine and our journo's overselling the preseason. We all knew how Bargnani was supposed to be much bigger and dangerous during last year's training camp and look what actually happened. JO was supposed to be dominating and look how that turned out.

I will believe it when I actually see it all on the court.

I LOL'd. But I could totally see that happening too. With Bargnani directing traffic, the entire team will just box out with no one to grab the rebound.

Bargs actually showed great positioning last year when they were in a zone or semi-zone. He often spoke and gave little pushes to the other big and the perimeter defender on his side, to show them when they should rotate.

What he sucks at is providing help defense when they're in more of a man-to-man defensive set and slashers get in to the paint (which was frequent against us last year). In those situations he tends to stick to his own man too long and gives up easy buckets.

Directing the defense is different that providing pure help defense.

Directing the defense is just one part of being a C and anchoring the D. I've rarely seen this guy talk on the floor in his 3 years, this is definitely a good sign. Now hopefully he's working on his rotations as well.

Perhaps a few accessories would make bargs look more intimidating?...........Perhaps not.

He had his best season ever? I'm no Bargs fan, but obviously last year's offseason helped him.
