So it appears a Raps fan made a site encouraging Bosh to re-sign. Pretty cool, kudos to him for the effort.

He somehow thinks that the Raps can be a contending team within the next two years. Do you think a lot of casual Raps fan see it this way? Personally, I think both parties (Raps and Bosh) would be better off parting ways, but perhaps there is something I'm not seeing...

Anyway, just thought I'd bring this to your attention.

what you're not seeing is that if bosh left this team has no one to take his place.
not for the next 5 years, at least.

I just read the open letter.

Good effort but not very convincing and not very accurate

I believe the open letter was from a fan who sent it to the website.

As I stated earlier, I think it is best for both parties to move on. There is no real room to remodel the roster..only chips remaining are the 2011 expirings. And as Scott Carefoot's blog points out, Bargnani cannot be traded until Dec 15th, and is pretty difficult to trade due to BYC for that entire season. So I guess the writing is on the wall.

Look, I'm not trying to be a jacka$$, but if you're posting a new site, you lose a lot of credibility with two major, elementary mistakes in your opening hook: "For people who say its a hockey town, its getting a little old."
