Buck Boston man. There team is far more talented and they can attract free agents easier. I hope karma bites em in the ass and they fall past us and the Lake Show

Orlando is closing their win tonight and I am switching back and forth between that and the Celtics game. Boston is up 89-80. As soon as Orlando looks to be locking it up Atlanta goes on a 27 to 6 run and beat the Celtics by 8.

I swear the Burke game winner over the Jazz and that win at home against Nola will haunt the Jazz for 15 years potentially. We could and should be at 22 wins if Burke misses 1 shot, and AD doesn't have a back problem last week. Soooooo important... we need a top 3 pick.

I really can't be upset about the Lakers being so close to us. They really have a crap roster and have poor coaching. I just can't get over how bad Boston is when they should be in the playoffs

The clouds opened up, we are 1 game behind 3rd place, but that is two teams in 3rd now. We really need to not win at all, especially that Laker game.

We either get 3rd, or 5th, or tie anywhere from 3rd-5th.

I can live with a tie for 3rd.

I expect us to finish 6th when we beat LA in LA
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

Boston won!

All the Jazz have to do is lose three and they are tied for the #4 pick.

Please...

I am sure we beat Lakers, so hopefully we tie 4th with Lakers, and Boston stays out of this.

And we're up vs. Denver?

Good God, the start of a three game win streak? Denver, nothing to lose/win for. MIN, nothing to lose/win for. LAL... everything to lose for.

Eek.

Boston win is an interesting twist tho.

Boston wins again!

All the Jazz have to do is lose out and the fourth pick is theirs! No coin flip. No drama. Just three little losses is all it will take...

I did calculations. If Kings, Lakers, Celtics and Magic all lose, and Jazz only win rest of season, we are going to be at worst 6th going into the lottery.

But if Jazz only win 1, and the rest lose all theirs, Jazz, Celtics and Lakers would all tie for 4th with 25 wins.

But what we really want is Jazz to lose our last 2, never getting 25 wins, which would give us 4th no matter what Lakers or Celtics do.

Then there is one even better, if Magic find a way to just win 1 game between @BK, @CHI, and vsIND!! If Jazz lose both, and Magic win 1, we would tie Magic for 3rd.

I did more calculations, and they are not good, but they are not bad....

So the plan is to be 1 of the 3 who gets picked for the first three picks, and if not, hope that no team behind us gets in front of us, like being 6th, and a 7th person getting 1 of the 3, making us 7th pick overall.

6th seeds gets 63 picks, with a high chance of 7th place.

Tied for 3rd the highest we should expect to get, in that event we would split the total votes on average with Magic, meaning even if we did tied for 3rd, we would get 137 votes, which is double the combinations than what we would get at 6th. So all that really does is lower Which lowers Magic's chances, and helps us a lot from our worst possible.

In a nutshell, prey Magic win 1 game, and we lose our 2. We are either getting 63 combos, or 137 combos no matter what. BUT, with the unlikely of Magic winning 2 of their last 3 games, and we lose our last 2, that would give us an awesome 156 combos, but lets just hope for at least 1 win by Magic, hopefully these power houses rest some guys, like Bulls or Nets.

I am kind of mad at Burke now for shooting that game winning 3 pointer. I personally loved seeing him shooting that shot, but then I turn around and there is no one to share the joy with cause no one was watching. Had that been LeBron, I would turn around and have millions of people to enjoy it with.

So I don't get the point in winning if no one cares. The media is just going to bash us, and deter us from getting any face time, and no matter what Burke does he is never going to get the ROTY just by politics alone. Everyone watched every team for month 1 and month 2, and then stopped watching all the dog teams. Meaning no one has really watched Burke play, and everyone watched the breakout "week" of Carter-Williams.

So Burke shoots a game winner, no one knows or cares especially nba media cause no one was watching (minus some niche jazz fans), and we get that much further away from the most combos. That niche of small people are not worth pleasing compared to the amounts of people waiting for next year.

He was partly drafted #9 for his big time shot making ability. If he was choking in these moments, I would worry he might bust.

I have been worried, but I am more worried about our management. I mean who was managing this this back in the day, the 80's and 90's back when we were a powerhouse. We can't have another Stockton unless we have a brand to be proud of.

We need to turn around cause we are heading the wrong way.

They're not going to cooperate. They're playing Ronnie Price, Dewayne Dedmon and Doron Lamb down the stretch of a winnable game against Brooklyn.

The Lakers, on the other hand, might just win this game tonight vs. the Grizzlies.
