I am.. if wesley matthews doesn't come back we are thin with only CJ with experience .. it's still way high of a contract to match. I wonder if another trade is in the works right now? 6 days to go..

I think this increases our ability to match up with LA. That's something.

I live in Minnesota and was a huge Jazz fan before Minnesota had a franchise.

Jefferson is a great PF. His offensive game with back to the hoop is probably the best in the league. He can consistently beat almost any double team. If Utah has some good spot up shooters expect Big Al to produce 20-8-3 or better each game with the occasional 35-12-5. All is an all-star caliber player, the Wolves simply couldn't spread the floor for him.

Al can play Center however don't expect him to clog the middle and be a shot blocker on defense. That part of his game still needs work.

Now that its official i will say that I love the move for the Jazz. If healthy we can put a line up of Dwill, Cj, Ak, memo and Jefferson. The is a tall line up that can pass the ball very well and play defence. You can put milsap in there instead of memo if you want. Also i think Fes will be a little better so we now have 3 7 footers with Kosta still being a waste of my time! Now bring back Brew and go get Shannon Brown........thats how the West was won!

Kobe will torch Utah with OR without Matthews. Jefferson hopefully will address the real matchup problems we have with them, at the 4 and 5 spots.

Word is, South Beach is ecstatic that they
won't be seeing Millsaps talents again this season...

If not Matthews, we definitely need a competent defender/shooter. A younger Raja Bell. I don't know where we find that at this point if we don't match Matthews (which I'm wavering on).

Our perimeter defense is fine. Miles and Hayward can defend and Kirilenko is great.

I am pretty happy after today.......

Playing with Deron, and in the Jazz system, is going to do wonders for Big Al........

I believe that center is Jefferson's best position. He is too slow laterally to defend power forwards. Even though undersized, he knows how to rebound and is strong enough to hold position against most centers in the league.

He can score down low, and has a decent jumper as well. And yes, he will benefit from Sloane's offensive schemes. He's a good fit for the Jazz.
