Just bumped into Pace Mannion and talked for a bit. Touched on Mathews, Boozer, Hayward, Greg Miller, and the looming roster change.

Agrees that Mathews is a great player, but just isn't worth such a big contract.

Hayward looks like a good player but may have been too high.

Says Harpring may be replacing Booner this year! This is exciting!

Boozer is, and always has been after the money, so no surprise there.

Said he hadn't heard anything about the possible deal going down tonight.

Also said that Jazz fans have nothing to fear in regards to the Jazz ever being sold. Larry put a lot of time into the contracts he signed over to ensure an incredibly difficult time for anyone trying to sell the team. Really cool to hear that!

Overall, really cool guy. Great to talk to, and even though his job is to talk about the Jazz, he really seemed to enjoy casual conversation about them as well.
