I wish we would have kept Korver now. Mostly so him and Big Al could rape Utah with charity.

The salaries match up, but that is likely the only truth to the matter.
That would be perfect for Jazz. Rudy is the type of shooter the jazz need plus Koufus will not play because the jazz have Jefferson , Okur and Fess at center.

Koufos went to Minny in the Jefferson trade.

I think that Steve Novak is also on the market, but he is a small forward and I would be hsitant to add another to the roster.

That being said, yes, with Al commanding double teams, it would be great to have 2 or 3 good perimeter players surrounding him. Okur is a great fit offensively. Korver would have been nice to hold on to.

Minnesota is sort of overloaded on the wings does Ellington or our Brewer do anything for you. Ellington hit something like 47% from three the second half of the season.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Minnesota gets the TPE, Utah used the TPE that they acquired to absorb Al's contract and it gave Minnesota cap relief. I don't believe Minnesota will be able to do the same thing Utah did unless this deal left them positive cap room.

Correct. The Wolves are far enough under the cap that there was no exception generated from the deal. What they have is better, straight up cap room.

I'd go with Mason. Can play some steady PG, better than Price imo.

Roger Mason Jr.-Perhaps the best shooter out of the group of guys left not to mention clutch
Shannon Brown-a decent 3 point shooter and a freak of an athlete imagine him on the Fast Break
Rasual Butler-Big wing who can play the 2 or 3. Good defender. Good 3 point shooter, plays well against us
Shasha Pavlovic-Much like Butler
Eddie House-Strictly a shooter can play the point in a pinch but I wouldn't feel to confident him running point, previous interest in him for the jazz.
Sign and trade wes for rudy?- might as well get something out of wes right? Rudy is much cheaper then Wes, so I think it is something we should explore.

Well, it sounds like we are after Brown and Mason, which is a good thing IMO. I hope we get Brown personally - stick it to the Lakers and get highlights from him, Price, and Miles all season...

Nuggets stole Harrington from the Mavs. Man, the Mavs are getting screwed on all their trade and signing attempts this season. They have GOT to get something done if they want to stay in contention in the West. Kidd and Dirk are getting older every year and they haven't added anyone of value. Ajinca and Chandler are not going to make a difference.

Brown is just an upgraded Price. So I like that idea. No thanks Raja, no thanks!

I'm for a Brewer/ Brown combo.

If they can afford both Brown and Brewer i think that a no brainer for them.

Does anyone else here think Roger Mason would be much, much better than Shannon Brown?

Well, Mason had a terrible shooting season last year and doesn't provide much value outside of his long range prowess, although he's a passable ball handler. He is also a poor defender.

The Jazz need to be doing whatever it takes to get Rudy Fernandez. For cost, style, ability and value there isn't a better player out there that we could acquire. He is #1 on my board right now. If we could find a way to flip Memo for either Biedrins or Varejao I would love to see that, too. Throw those two moves in with the roster we have in place, and I think you have a championship caliber squad. I really do.

Not sure GS or CLE have any incentive to make those trades.
