Rank dem Jazz!

Post#1 » by carrottop12 » Wed Jul 14, 2010 12:13 pm

Something we do every off season, we've added some new guys, lost a few guys so it's time to rank the Jazz players in order from best to worst. You can also plug in guys you think we could sign and where they would rank! Tell us whether you are ranking how you think they are today/last season (not counting if they are injured) or if you are ranking how you think they will be during the upcoming season.

1. Deron Williams: Not close
2. Al Jefferson: Really excited, I think he is going to be excellent providing he stays healthy.
3. Andrei Kirilenko: Adding Big Al and moving back to the PF is going to be great for AK.
4. Paul Millsap: Love Millsap, think he has a very good year and starts all 82+ this year.
5. CJ Miles: He continues his playoff excellence (14/3/3) and really comes into his own.
6. Ronnie Brewer: I think he comes back and does what he's always done.
7. Mehmet Okur: He becomes more of a stationary shooter, all stats go down. :(
8. Gordon Hayward: He plays 15 minutes a game this year, doesn't make too many mistakes.
9. Kyrylo Fesenko: He gives the Jazz some solid minutes, and some crappy minutes.
10. Ronnie Price: Another year with a sub par back up PG.
11. Jeremy Evans: Plays more than expected as a rookie, gives the Jazz some solid back up play.
12. Third String PG: Sits on the bench, doesn't do anything.
13. Third String Wing: Sames as #12.

Absolutely right. Provided this is a Devil's Goatee contest.

I think Memo's injury is a lot more severe than most people realize. Almost nobody returns from ruptured Achilles tendons. Even spot up shooters struggle to come back.

1. Deron Williams - No explanation needed here.
2. Al Jefferson - I'm thinking it will take a while before he gets use to playing with these guys. Once he does tho, he's gonna be the post presence we've always dreamed of (i hope)
3. Paul Millsap - We've seen what the dude can do as a starter. I think he will be a great 18/10 guy.
4. CJ Miles - He's our fourth best player if he continues to play the way he did in the playoffs.
5. Andrei Kirilenko - Vintage Kirilenko :dontknow:
6. Mehmet Okur - Due to injury, i dont see him playing much this season to be honest. I hope im wrong, he could be our 4th best.
7. Ronnie Price - Deron's backup, he knows his job and will do it okay.
8. Gordon Hayward - I never expect coach Sloan to play our first round rookies.
9. Fesenko - 20 minutes per game? Everyone will be stoked
10. Jeremy Evans - Won't play much

1. D-Will- time to win the assist crown

2. Big Al- Saw him play around here for the Celtics was going to be their future before the KG trade, now he is ours.

3. CJ Miles- I have him this high because his role is going to be huge on the Jazz this year. If he gets better at going to the basket CJ could get most improved player!

4. Milsap- If Big Al and Milsap can get on the same page it could be the best 4 and 5 combo i have ever seen........Sorry Tag!

5. AK- coming off that bench last year we saw pieces of the old FEAR FACTOR AK. I remember that game he had against the Mavs where i thought we were going to the finals after it!....got a little carried away but we did beat them on the road in that game!

6. Fez/Memo- be interesting to see how these two are used gives us a banger and a money man!Get well soon Memo!

7. The Baby Faced Assassin- looked good in summer league, hope he drinks his milk and can become a person we can run that ball through like AK.

8. back up PG- who is it?and what do we get?

9. Bring back Brew or go get Shannon Brown
