I'm one of his harshest critics, but overall decent play by CJ tonight. He made 2-3 really dumb plays, but also hit some nice shots going to the basket.

I still wonder wtf he's doing on defense when he goes all "jazz hands" on his man. Against most good players in the league that will result in a foul.

I've always be patient and have even defended CJ at times but he needs to go.

Not just because he's a chucker who makes stupid plays more consistently than jump shots but because his minutes should be going to Alec Burks and Jeremy Evans instead.

He's unreliable. His D is bad. Even his best games are marred by horrible fouls and a chucker shot-selection.

Trade him and don't look back.

The problem is not Miles. Start Burks and let him learn to play. Sit Bell for god's sake. No points, no steals, no rebounds, no nothin' stop this madness!!!

there is a nice rotation to be had with
Howard
Hayward
Burks
Evans
Corbin just can't figure it out. Maybe he needs to go as well as CJ and bell.

Cj is not nearly as bad as bell. He claims the role doesn't bother him, that's a flat out lie. He's better as a starter and should start over bell utah's rotation should be Harris, hayward,cj,millsap, jefferson with a young energetic bench of watson, burks, jho, favors, kanter mix in evans every once inawhile but bell hould no be seeing the floor at all. Total waste on this team.

To think we didn trade bell for johnny flynn for whatever reason. Drives me insane. Bell is absolutely garbage, it really pisses me off because I like the team a lot except for bell, who just wrecks everything we do. Why doesn't coach see this?

The Bell hatred on this board is sad. Bell was a fan favorite back in the day. It is not his fault Kevin O'Connor screwed up and signed him past his prime to the team for too much money and for too long... but RAJA is a pro's pro, and when the time is right Burks will take over his minutes.... be patient. But just watch... if Bell isn't traded he will be the mentor that Burks will need to learn true defensive grit on the floor. Burks and the Jazz know that he has a bright future, but he needs to learn how to fight for it.

And frankly, I think it is great that Bell beat him out in training camp in the F/O's mind because it will make Burks work even harder to get his minutes. I want our rookies to work their tails off for minutes. If they are just given the minutes, they don't appreciate them and don't work for them. Look at Cousins... everything had always been given to him and now that he has a coach that is making him work for it he is showing what a head case he is. Burks and Bell will battle everyday during the next two years of Bell's contract and those battles will help Burks become a defensive minded or a more defensive minded player... and thus a better player. Then... Raja will go on to be a coach for someone...maybe even the jazz.

Bell is great for the development of Burks, and soon enough Burks will start getting the minutes.

Agree, Blackham. If Burks is going to beat out Bell he will continue to make the most of his opportunities.

People on this board are acting as if 50 games have already passed.

Fine keep bell for practice. I know we need bodies for that. If bell did beat out burks there's no way he beat out cj,hyward, howard etc. Cj should be starting. Let him warm the spot fo burks. At least cj can provide something, bell provides nothing ingame for us.
