So Jazz have 104 chances to win lottery and Boston 103. If neither one wins lottery, Jazz pick 4th and Boston 5th.

That's not quite accurate. Recall that there are lottery drawings for each of the top 3 picks, then after those are done the teams are ordered according to pre-lottery slots.
So the Jazz can theoretically fall to 7th if they don't pick in the top 3 (although that's very unlikely).
In any case, all of this is covered extensively in other threads already.
