If we play as we are playing lately, we should win... but it's a strange season, and they are in a similar season as us. They have some quality players, but seems disconnected. Of course, we're young and we're learning while they have some vet and aren't able to play well.

Is Kobe playing? I thought I read he was going to sit the 2nd of back to backs from here on out. I hope he plays...its always fun to see the crowd react to him in our building. He had 17 assists per game last night. I'd be shocked if he didnt come out looking to shoot 30 times at least if in fact he does play.

We should walk all over them, though I question if we actually will. Here's hoping this jazz team knows they need to handle a team who is inferior to them. Regardless if the team records are close.

I believe the Lakers have played better without Kobe this season, though last night he played very well (especially rare this season). Either way, we should win this game, with all their injuries, the team is a joke, and they were hardly mediocre before the injuries.

Kobe is such a fascinating character. I really wish it were possible to discuss him more without the pro- and anti-Kobe fans dominating the discussion.

Last night is a great example. He clearly was out to prove a point about his ability to create for others. Having proved his point, one then has to ask: "Why hasn't he done this more often? Why isn't he averaging 8 assists/game?"

Its not his nature. Like you said he may have been out to prove a point, and so he was focused on passing. But his natural tendency is to score the ball....which usually means he'd rather take a bad shot with 4 defenders on him than dump it off to one of his open teammates.

Why don't Lin, Young, and Boozer start?

This afternoon I dreamed I was wearing bright yellow shoes with LAKERS on the side. Awful. Washed the bejeezus out of my feet when I woke up.

Next step in Trey's development - Passing on the fast break.

Trey is back to his "no passing on the break" self.

We're up by 5, but it feels like we should be up by 20.

Is Quin trying to lose this game? Very odd lineup choices so far.

Ive gone from wanting Kanter to shoot that open 16 foot shot more often to wishing he'd never shoot it at all.
