It seemed that every time that Gobert sat, the Lakers went on a run. Hayward and Favors should be able to pick up the slack, but they couldn't last night.
Oh, and the 76th pick from last year's draft had a career night against our lottery pick PGs.
Hopefully, they become better as a result of this. It was pretty disappointing as they had it in the bag several times.

I dont think I've ever seen Favors make two free throws in a row.

It's been rare the past month or so. I'm not sure what has happened to his free throw shooting this year, but he has definitely taken a step back.

The Mailman hasn't been around since Ty Corbin got fired. Working with Karl really helped Favors, IMO.

Karl's involvement the Utah bigs was greatly overstated and in all likelihood nothing more than a PR stunt. I'm guessing he spent no more than 2 hours total with Favors.

Burke really is D.J. Augustin, similarstats and both picked 9th after playing on successful NCAA teams. Hopefully Exum works out well for you guys, cause Burke doesn't seem like he is getting any better.

Malone's issue was not getting to be with them as much as he wanted. Of course, he probably wanted the assistant coach title and not having to travel with the team... or be there during the games (not sure they'd want him to be there anyway).

I don't know about that. I'm guessing Karl spent exactly as much time as he really wanted to with them. I think he probably spent more time on local sports radio then he spent working with them.
