Game 10: Utah Jazz (2-7) @ Memphis Grizzlies (1-7)

A rare game against a team with a worse record than the Jazz's. Kessler is out, but given all of the Grizzlies' injuries there are no excuses.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Tonight is an in-season tournament game so get your eyes ready for a visual atrocity.

Total collapse ... turnovers again killing this team again.

Once again Keynote thinks he is Allen iverson and almost gives up the game. One more bad three from him and I will vomit. Or one more drive into three defenders refusing to pass out to open shooters.

1. Just to get it out of the way, the Jazz got a lot of help from the refs in this game and Grizzlies fans have the right to be upset. It was not a well officiated game.

2. Of all the in-game tournament court I've seen so far, the Grizzlies' court is the least objectionable.

3. It looks like George is making a concerted effort to be more focused on facilitating, which is nice. The offense will come in time. Having said that, there are still plenty of rookie mistakes that he's making including in his decision making but it's all to be expected. It's a good experience for him.

4. Clarkson was much better in this game and forced it a bit less, which was nice.

5. It felt like Markkanen wasn't all that involved in the offense and yet he still managed to finish (no pun intended) with 26 points with excellent efficiency.

6. Collins was really good, and Agbaji was good as well.

7. Hardy didn't have a great game imho. Especially in the end of the 3rd quarter and the start of the 4th, he stayed with a lineup that wasn't working for way too long and gave away the Jazz's entire lead.

More observations:
We gave another time stupid turnovers, but probably was the first time our defense gave us some fastbreak points.
Markkanen can't play vs interior players. Turner, last game JJJ in this abused him at the paint.
Collins is a PF and can't play C at all, can't play SF. His game is more like Millsap (when he played with us), but he is doing well his game, and growing. Hardy has to see what he has to do when Kessler is available.
George shot look nice... but was not falling. Still 11 assist is the record for a jazz player this season.
Sexton has to be one of the players with more shots blocked (I think he should be #1)
Clarkson is playing much better without THT around. THT is playing fine from the bench.
