Game 34: Utah Jazz (14-19) vs Dallas Mavericks (19-14)

Jazz have no listed injuries. For the Mavs: Irving, Doncic, Exum and Curry as listed as GTD. Kleber is OUT.

I wonder if the Jazz will get cooked by Exum. Good for him if he has a good game, happy for him that he found a place in the league again. I also wonder how many time Exum will block Sexton.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

The Mavs did very well last off season with their draft of Lively and signing of Exum. Both of them are significant contributors. A bad thing about these pickups, besides making Dallas tougher to beat, is that they are helping to breath new life in to Dallas potentially becoming a legit title contender and Doncic not asking out. Mavs have won at a 65% pace this season when Lively starts.

They aren't legit contenders imho, and hopefully an early exit will make Doncic see it.

Revenge game. They won by 50. We should make them pay.

We should only lose by 20 this time. That'll show them.

At the risk if jinxing the Jazz for next game, I am going to say the Jazz are starting to look like a good team!

Pretty.

Read on Twitter

Who thought Clarkson would be the 1st to record a triple-double?
From the basketball's perspective, travel is a nice pause from being pounded to the floor.

Just saying.

Props to this team, because they are figuring things out and right now we look like a team. We have improved in efficiency in offense and in defense.

Let's see, because after Pistons games we have a brutal schedule @Celtics, @76ers and @Bucks. If we split those 4 games, it would be nice.

1. Impressive showing. Didn't expect that.
2. Fontechhio was excellent.
3. Kessler was good and had an effect.
4. Collins was decent, despite taking too many 3s. He scored when the game was close and when the team needed buckets.
5. Sexton had a weird stretch where he forced 3 3s in a row for no apparent reason. Don't know what that was about.
6. Everyone shared the ball really well. The ball movement was great with a lot of quick passes.
7. It was funny watching Clarkson along with the entire state of Utah chasing a triple-double. Congrats to him, he played well.
8. Is this team low-key good?

I can consider that game as overachieving.

George is definitely trying to learn. It's face expressions and body language looks like me much better than that of Donovan. He is not relaxed and self-indulging, even after lucky stretches. Currently the man who he looks at most is Kelly and if that will continue, who knows how high he can go.a lot
But if he prefer take lessons from Sexton... this game he was like lack hole from where ball never escapes! Even Kyrie moved ball 5 more than him.

The celebrationof 3d of Clarkson was very nice. Kessler, in particular, was happy as a child.
