AKA The Return of the Gira

I hope that we win, but Gira goes off for 50 and spits at Sloan.

LOL. I actually wouldn't mind this either. Yeah, it was a bad fit, and yeah... Sloan and Gira were never gonna co-exist, but I still like Gordan and have always recognized his talent.

Total revenge factor game for Giricek and Korver. Might actually be fun to see them bombing away over each other out of spite :)

Good luck to all, and here's to a good game!

Last year in one game when Giricek and Korver matched up against each other Giricek did an excellent defensive job against Korver all game long until the last play of the game when Dalembert set a screen against Giricek injuring him and setting up Korver for the game winning shot.

I hope Giri does well, but in a losing effort.

I echo that sentiment. I hope Giri has a good year in Philly.

I really did like Giri, he seemed like a really smart person off the floor, had some very good interviews and when I would see him around he was always nice enough to say hi, very down to earth guy.

My guess is he goes back to Europe after this season and gets a very nice contract.

Thanks for everything Giri, sorry it didn't work out.

Go Jazz!

Well, Giricek is streaky. I watch him when he was playing in Memphis, and the dude was terrible. He shot every ball he took. Really selfish. He improve a little bit in Magic. Then I remind when he was in jazz uni for the first season (half season to be correct) He was a nice addition. Then he had some months when he was great, another ones when he was in the bottom of the bench.
I think he wanted to play of his way, being selfish. Sloan don't want it. Giricek have the tools to be a great team player, but he wanted to be a star.

Giri has spent long enough in Utah, and it was his time for a change
same thing can be said about Korver

both seem like good people so I don't expect anything to happen

I just hope that the jazz don't sleep on the sixers and they put them away early

I'm going to this game, first of the season cause my bro is in town and wants to go see a game.

Excited to see Korver, hope the Jazz don't have a post win slump.

Please if anyone is going to the game, do not boo Giri. We will never hear the end of it.

I was amazed at how classy Gira was in handling Sloanyelling@GIrainCharlottegate. The interviews he did afterwards were down right respectful.

Seriously lets be more classy then that...lets throw battries at him like we did the Spurs. I pray to the Church of Okur that Boozer teabags Gira on a fastbreak.
