I no longer like the deal. Micic is good.

micic-jdub reserve units carried the thunder in january. +16.8pp100 in 200+ minutes. the thunder have struggled to find other reserve combos that are effective. they experimented some with giddey-jdub again recently and it was not effective. i don't understand this move unless something else is to follow. gordon hayward is never healthy and relying on him in that micic role seems foolish.

my only thought is that micic, bertans and mann all have 2024-25 cap hits. those are all cleared now.

We have to wait 2,5 hours to see the complete picture, because right now it seems a complete nonsense

Disapointed but not surprised we moved Micic. It was pretty clear the thunder begrudgingly gave him minutes.

The trade puts OKC something like 7M under the cap - I think they use that and picks for a big before the day is over. Think that played a role in the Gordon overpay.

Yeah Bogi probably would have been the better move. I like how much cap they've cleared though. Makes it much easier to extend Joe/Wiggins. Could even re-sign Gordon if he balls out in the playoffs.

He cleared the spots needed for all the rookies he'll be bringing in this off-season. Presti can draft another version of Mann, Dieng and Roberson to boost the Thunder to victory next year.

Saw PJ Washington, got excited, but nope he's going to a rival.

He was more expensive than I thought.

I don't mind moving Micic but this feel like we got worse and are preparing ourself for a busy 2024 offseason which was Presti plan from day 1 but still think we could use some help :(

yeah I don't like Micic but I immediately remembered your posts about how our second unit was better with Micic on it.

Really don't understand the move. Wiggins is a better version of Hayward who we don't even know if we will be able to play.

It's only good for long term salary.

I like clearing roster spots and salary dump, but other than that I don't know that the trade does much for me. Will Hayward even break the rotation? Did we give up on Micic too soon? Did we give up our best tradeable salary in Bertans for nothing of playable value?

This is worse than just trading for Drummond and I badly hate Drummond.

I wanted a move to improve for this season, not for 2027.
