I’m waiting to read that Giddey is a better shooter than Hayward

I think Hayward could be some help, hoping more to come.

Well at worst that's an extra 5.25m for next season and a good contract to trade before the FA.

I'm sub-enthused about Hayward. He can't stay healthy. The best ability is availability

Let the deadline finish first. Making a deal this early in the day seems like a good signal there may be more to come.
only if we are going to send Hayward in another trade. There's not much salary matching left.
still have the goods of poku micic giddey dieng and even dort, thats 39M max player

Re: OKC Thunder Trades and Transaction Thread
I’m reading people saying that the trade with Charlotte doesn’t work in salary terms..
I tried it in Espn Trade Machine and the result is “trade failed”
Perhaps isn’t the final version of the trade?
Does Something miss?

mayb okc has a trade exception?
if not it works including POKU
or they have to include a third team sending a filler to NOH for a protected second

The more I think about this I'm coming around. You had two guys who weren't playing and now you've got a guy who might be able to help. Emphasis on the might. Which is probably more than you could say for Mann or Bertans..

Re: OKC Thunder Trades and Transaction Thread
I like the Hayward addition. Was trying to find a previous post of mine asking for his services. Like others have said it's gonna depend on his health but he's a savvy vet that can do a little bit of everything. Don't think he'll disrupt any flow and he's probably elated to be out of Charlotte

problem is these assets could have been used as salary with picks to acquire a player who fills an actual need. who does hayward play over in our rotation? micic maybe. is he better than wiggins at this point? probably not.
if the thunder can convince hayward to just attempt spot up threes and create in transition then he's ok but i doubt that is going to happen. hayward has a lot of junk to his game that makes him inefficient.

Re: OKC Thunder Trades and Transaction Thread
I can confirm that the trade doesn’t work, so we have to wait for something other to complete it

Yeah there is an opportunity cost aspect here that's less than ideal.

The Thunder are including Vasilije Micic and draft compensation to the deal, sources tell ESPN.
That’s ugly
