the explanation is far simpler. it's just diminishing returns. that's all.

Said this in the General Board:

OKC fans Chet is concerning the **** out of me.

He's an excellent shot blocker! But does he have to challenge every damn thing? In preseason?

Same **** that happened in that BS Crawsover League he went to block Auser Thompson's dunk and landed very awkward.

He grabbed at his knee, kept playing and did a great job blocking even more shots but damn bro on the bench rubbing on his knee cause he clearly tweaked it.

He gotta learn to do this **** in moderation. Do not be surprised if he hurt his right knee.

A lot of misinformed people peddled Chet as 4. Hopefully this shuts up that conversation.

I agree with some things said we would be real scarry if we would trade for a pf. Mann, white, and some picks for a good pf. But I guess Sam is just going to wait until next draft. But we would make some noise this year with one good piece. Would have nice to have gotten one of the thompson twins.

I'm assuming they hope Cason is a 3&D guy. Give the glut of guards he should be getting minimal playing time as a rookie. SGA, Giddy, Jalen, Joe, Micic, Kenrich and Cason is a crowded 1-3. Then there is the worst of the group, Dort, will get thrown out there for 30 minutes a game of dragging down the team. After a terrible off-season they seem to be looking at a 44 win season and trying to get the 8 seed. It is a shame that will all the cap space and assets they decided not to make any of the moves that were out there to push them to a 50+ win team and a contender.

Our best bet is that Cason/dort is the current version of Ibaka/green.

Just need to trade for a much better piece than Perkins.
