Go figure...Last week I set records for points and 3s, and this week, my team is laying a HUGE goose egg. So much for being the team to beat (and thank you JORDAN for making that declaration and jinxing me!!!)

Enjoy the next round Wes...I'm done.

You know your team is in trouble when Matt Carroll is outplaying Lebron James.

Matt Carroll rules. And to think he wasn't good enough for someones roster, so they dumped him to waivers where I was kind enough to give him a new home.

Poor little fella.

that someone was me. I had him for the first part of the season. Either way, I think it was more about how poorly my guys are playing than how well Matt is. Turk and Lebron are just totally letting me down. Oh well.

Talk about a feverish Sunday...nice come back from down 8-1, but just not enough to overtake you Wes. If I had been anywhere near my season average in 3s (70+ last week), I'd be moving on. Oh well, that's how the ball bounces eh?

Nice win, good luck through the bracket.

Oh, and one more thing...

Now that I've made the playoffs and am out in the first round...I think I am entitled opportunity to declare every time my team WOULD have won had my players not come up complete duds in the first week. ;)

Yeah, that came down to a nail biter on the last day. I had no idea it would become that close.

Good luck in your virtural championship.

Congrats on your victory, that was one hell of a nailbiter. Good luck taking down fran!

And now it's you and me, WB - which injury ravaged team will bring the goods?

Hey Jazz, looks like you might get Brand back just in time. :P Didn't want you to forget.

I'll just go console myself with the most stunning IL roster in the league - Marion and Bynum. *sniff* ... *sniff* Ah, what could have been.

I feel your pain bro...we can both sulk with the "most stunning yet biggest disappointments" tag....

As for Wes, I now proclaim him the team to beat. With the Udrih pick-up and Brand, he'll cruise.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd have drafted Brand had I known he'd take this long to come back. But, he'll definitely be welcome.

I just hope he gets some decent court time.

Wow, after waiving Wade a few weeks ago I didn't expect my team to remain competitive. I finished the season as the 12th seed, just barely making the consolidation playoffs, but my team is still alive and up 6-3 against Jordan in the 2nd round right now.

A lot of my draftpicks during the summer paid off big (Dunleavy, Baron, Outlaw, Aldridge etc) but Wade and Nene emerged as mistakes. A flood of injuries and most of my more risky picks in the late rounds not paying off seemed to put a stamp on my season.

Over half of my team consists of players I picked up from the waiver wire over the course of the season: Bogans, Korver, Petro, (Wilson) Chandler, Nick Young, Fred Jones, Chuck Hayes and Smush Parker.

I would've never guessed that working the waiver in a deep league like this would've kept me competitive..

Best of luck to Jordan the rest of the week by the way!

Meh. I'm not really up for the consolation playoffs.

Got 3 championship semi-finals to worry about! :P

Anyway, I haven't been active since the Yao injury. That sent me from playoffs to resigning myself to the consolation playoffs. Now I am guarantee a top-half finish, which I'm happy with, after a botched draft.

No way back for me I think.

My crushing defeat of YS has sent him spiraling into oblivion. My season is complete.

I know how you feel, I'm in the semi-finals in the other leagues I'm in too. ;) I finished 1st in the regular season in those other leagues, so it's a pretty good swansong for me if I end up winning at least one or two of those.
