Nice to see Stanimal remove all doubts of his AO win. A 2 time GS champion, who would've guessed 3 years ago.

Yep he beat Djokovic/Nadal in the Australian Open triumph.
And he beat Federer/Djokovic in this French Open triumph.
Incredible and even more incredible because of the extreme h2h deficits he had to overcome vs all those guys.
One of the greatest late-bloomers EVER.

Stan played a hell of a match. Give him some credit.
WTB what a dope choice of pics for pp! PURE VELVET dogg! How can we lose with our captain looking like a cross between bishop don juan and iceburg slim?

No doubt, but Djokovic played like hot garbage. Zero aggression. Unforced errors galore. Useless first serve. He always shrinks during the big games, especially when he's favoured.

Djokovic hasn't got the weapons that Wawrinka has.
Wawrinka has the bigger serve and the bigger backhand.
Djokovic has the gymnastics but can still be hit off the court when someones in the zone.
Djokovic beat Nadal because Nadal has been low on confidence all year (similar to most of 2009 and some of 2011) and hitting too short and too cross-court.
And Djokovic lost 2 sets to Murray, despite Murray playing passively.
So (to me) it always looked like Wawrinka would win this Final unless he hit too many unforced errors (and at the Australian Open this year Wawrinka hit too many unforced errors in the SF vs Djokovic and lost in 5).
I was confident that Wawrinka would hit cleanly in this final because he's won his last 6 finals, very clutch.
