Wimbledon Men's Finals discussion thread

Post#1 » by Slava » Sat Jul 5, 2008 10:15 am

Mens Singles:

Rafael Nadal vs Roger Federer.

I personally can't wait to watch this game. Should be a pulsating game between the best tennis players on the planet. :D

I'm scared for Federer. :( This is the best chance yet for Nadal to win Wimbledon. I really hope he can win and make more history as well as prove that he's not quite done yet.

I think Roger is going to return the favor from Rafa, and walk in straight sets. Maybe something along the lines of 6-2, 6-3, 6-1.

5 setter on the cards. I think Fedex will win but not easily.

Fed's in trouble. He can't win a break point to save his life right now. Hopefully he can turn it around and fast.

This is one of the most amazing matches I've seen in my life. What a comeback in tie-breaker for Fed.

Heart of a Champion right there.

What a match! My heart can't take anymore of this!! If Roger hadn't choked up 4-2 in the 2nd set, he'd have won his 6th championship by now. :(

A few years ago, I would have never been worried for Federer in the Wimbledon finals. And now, instead of expecting him to win, you can only hope and pray that he can hold off his competitors.

I really hope Federer has some magic left to pull this out, but who knows anymore. Too many unforced errors and his serve is coming and going. Hope is all I have for Federer now. :(

This is unbelievable. As I post Federer has fought back and is three points away from winning.
