Memphis Grizzlies 2022/23 Injury List

Post#1 » by SD2042 » Sat Nov 12, 2022 11:42 pm

This thread is to be dedicated to updates to the Grizzlies on injury reserve.

Currently, both Ja Morant and Desmond Bane are doubtful to play on Sunday 11/13 against the Washington Wizards due to the injuries to the ankle and toe respectively.

Bane out 2-3 weeks.

Desmond Bane has been ruled out for two-to-three weeks due to a sprained right big toe. Bane's injury comes just as Jaren Jackson Jr. will reportedly return to the lineup on Tuesday night.

He will be a big miss in the lineup during those weeks. The schedule ahead needs to be precede with caution. Thunder on Friday, Nets on Sunday with revenge on the mind(albeit the Nets are very distracted drama wise), Kings on Tuesday, and Pelicans again on next Friday. Currently, the Grizzlies are riding a two game losing streak. Injuries have been a theme with this team so far into the season. They have to come up with more solutions to step up their game and hold down the fort as a team. Look adversity in the eyes and step on it's neck.

Bane's toe injury is something it seems he will have to deal with the rest of the season and may need surgery for this offseason. Danny Green also is making progress and started 5 on 5 work.

Clarke is done for the season. There is a good chance this impacts next season too.

This has been a weekend from hell for the Grizzlies.

As for BC, I wish him a full recovery and rehab as he heals up from this bad injury.

Adams to be re-evaluated in 4 weeks aka he's pretty much done for the regular season.

Ja is out indefinitely. Honestly he can take as much time as he needs in order to get himself right.

Ja can return to basketball activities Monday. I think we will take a couple days to ramp him up before he plays, but good to see him back.

You need Adams to hit the Warriors where they are Weakest. Looney is great but the Warriors have no back up center.

I a Warriors fan think the Grizzlies were the 2nd best team on n in the playoffs last year.
I’m have Bucks, Celtics, Grizzlies and Warriors tied as best teams. If Adams was was healthy Enough might give the edge to the group sales es

Last year I felt like the Grizz would have beaten the Warriors if both teams were fully healthy due to matchups but that we likely couldn't have beaten Boston like you guys. Glad you guys were able to win it all and Memphis was still on the minds of your players ha. I hope Memphis and the Warriors meet in round 2 because it is always such a fun (and sometimes toxic) series.
