Awful, awful idea. Is getting out of Prince's expiring 7+ million next year worth taking on multiple years of Budinger (who seems like a disabled player at this point) at 5 million a pop? I think not.

because Timberwolves fans are so happy about this trade I think it must be bad for us!

Grindfather needs to retire a grizzly if possible - don't trade him

It is more of mixed feelings over on the Twolves board. We feel it is a lateral move basically. The only benefit being getting rid of Barea!!!

Chase Budinger may not be completely healed until next year

Tony Allen is on the decline and prior to his injury he got lit up and he is on the decline so that contract will become scary by the year.

Prince still have flashes, like the Orlando game, "his please don't trade me Bro" game but those happen every blue moon.

Barea is not as necessary as he might have been a week ago, now that St. Nick has found his rhythm.

I am willing to trade Prince and Allen in a package but the return should be much greater than this.

This trade says we're trading away defense for offense. That's to me is not a good sign. I rather trade for players who can play on both sides of the floor and who can contribute as well.

The Grizzlies are one of many teams who are in pursuit of Warriors SF Harrison Barnes. Although the Warriors have stated that they are not interested in dealing Barnes, it's still possible that a team can make a good deal that may convince the Warriors to take the deal.

Currently the Warriors are looking for a PF/C in return and looking to get under the luxury tax.

boring but o well. guess it wasn't worth giving up our few assests to move prince. it gives all the poster's on the reg grizz boards something to complain about like usual . maybe we can find some depth in a free agency or see who gets bought out .

Danny Granger is about to be bought out:

Rumor has it that Memphis will definitely pursue him. Not sure what our chances are, but we could offer him a starting role, where a lot of teams can't. He'd be a really nice fit with the rest of the starters. I hope we sign him.
