Jordan Hamilton and the iowa Energy

Post#1 » by Zordor » Thu Nov 27, 2014 2:29 am

Jordan Hamilton was just acquired by the Iowa Energy, if I understand this correctly, that means Memphis since they are the sole affiliate of the Energy now, can call up Hamilton from the D-League, some people might disagree, but if we can offload Q-pon for an expiring like AK47 who can just sit the bench, CALL THE MAN (Jordan) UP FROM THE D-LEAGUE idc if he doesn't get rotational minutes every night, he would be worth at least a 12-15th man spot AT LEAST imo.

I rather not tough AK47 at this point. Although the Grizzlies need a SF, there are better players out there than AK47.

The point is to bench him to offload cap at the end of the season and only use him if we ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO, jordan hamilton is the piece we put back in the rotation for Q-pon or we give Adams some minutes

What about Damien Wilkins and Patrick Cristopher? They both looks to be playing very good in the NBDL.

Things are going so well it is hard to see any meaningful deal taking place at the moment

Exactly - family issues would likely prevent a deal before February. http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources--f ... 40661.html

I am all for adding Damien Wilkins, Hamilton, or any top D League players. Earl Clark too.

Q-pon has been playing better these last couple games, doubt they move him, but I would like to see us pick up Hamilton still, have him split minutes with Q-pon

I would rather give all of our minutes to QPon at this point given his defensive presence. With that said, we could afford to add one more player to the roster and I think a wing would sort of round out the roster.
