MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- There is plenty of predraft work to be done less than a month away from the 2015 NBA Draft. After the Memphis Grizzlies' first predraft workout, Notre Dame guard Pat Connaughton made his mark in Friday's 90-minute session at FedExForum.

"Tough, strong, shoots it well," Memphis coach Dave Joerger said of Connaughton. "(He's) got good confidence, willing to do the dirty work. Very conscious player. He doesn't need to dribble all over the place."

Memphis is looking for wing length and athleticism to go along with scoring ability. The 6-foot-5 wing is projected in the second round, but quickly is rising.

Surprising they didn't send one to upshaw , I guess Memphis front office thinks personal concerns. Also I expected to see Rakeem Christmas if they were going to look at early second round talent as big men go , him or rashad Vaughn

It's still early yet. There is still time between now and the next two weeks to bring in players who they are currently evaluating. It's a wait and see deal for now.

Tyler Haws does one thing and one thing only: score. We must call him the minute after the draft ends if he goes undrafted

I haven't heard of Haws. If he's likely to go undrafted, is he effective in half-court or up-tempo style?

I saw just two BYU games and I remember he´s very crafty and could score in both ways.

From the videos it seems like Haws has Drew Nietzel/Jimmer Fredette written all over him. Scorer mentality, but one-dimensional player. D-League candidate at least.
