POR/MEM/ATL

So this was brought up on a separate website of if Memphis pursued Batum in the case of a Trailblazer rebuild.
I put my own spin on it that makes sense for all teams involved.

Memphis trades Leur and Lee to ATL for the 15th pick and Mike Scott

Memphis then trades Jeff Green, 15th pick for Batum and the 23rd pick

Memphis Drafts Justin Anderson at 23 and a Center at 25

Conley/Smith/ Udrih
Allen/Adams/Carter
Batum/Anderson
Z-Bo/Scott/Jamychal Green/ Stokes
Gasol/ C from draft

Add in a wing 3 point specialist from FA and you have a team.

Scott adds spacing in the front court rotation, Anderson is a guy who should translate well into the NBA as a solid leader off the bench with guys like Smith and Adams , and Batum will space the floor in our starting lineup while maintaining the length and athleticism Green gave us.

ATL goes into win now mode getting Lee who is a solid veteran outside shooter on the wing and fits Budenhozzer's game, Leur is a cheap fringe rotational stretch 5 which is what they need anyway.

Blazers are blowing it up and they liked Green before, they take a chance on him and if he doesnt work out they have more cap in 2016 for a full on rebuild, but they also get the 15th pick to get a prime candidate for their rebuild because there wont be any solid PF by pick 23 left on the board most likely, so this gives them a chance to replace Aldridge in the long term.

Memphis loses Lee, but he might have been an outside shooter, but not an outside presence where teams felt the need to guard the arc. Anderson brings in a solid defense along with good 3 point shooting and athleticism, easily coachable and a good leader. Batum helps be a real presence from outside as he takes almost 5 3-s per game versus Lee's average of 2 per game, frees up adams who is another knock down 3 point shooter and Mike Scott will easily space the floor for Memphis on offense enough to mess with some rotations a bit since he and Jamychal Green both have the Athleticism to play defense against most SF.

Stop making 2k trades!!!

1st: Leuer is better than Scott?
2nd: is the answer is yes, i dont know what to say. is the answer is no, how could Lee bring back a 15 pick???????
3rd: Hawks have, Benzmore, Korver, Carroll, Sepholosha, Mack, Jenkins and they trade a 15 pick for LEE???????
4th: they need a strech 5, like Leuer... are u serious?????? they have Antic, who can shoot the 3 and is bigger, Muscala. Their problem is they are SOFT inside, something that Leuer add.
5th: Batum....Batum???? Batum!!!!!!!! thz but no thz. He dont lose to spanish people 8-)

leuer isn't good , best thing about him is he can be waived .

i think a deal with ATl starts and ends with a Koufus s&t .

When it comes to Koufos, I think either Boston or New Orleans will be his new home by July. Since you think ATL, who do you think best comes back in this S&T?
