GAME 65: MEM vs GSW

Can't help but feel Brooks will take a large volume of shots tonight after the Green remarks. Hopefully he hits at least a few of them.

Green bodied Brooks real hard. Dillon stubborn nature could make and break this matchup. Klay already clowned him around Christmas. Now Green after Dillon fired shots. Given the cloud around the Grizzlies right now, I'm not liking their chances in this matchup.

Right now, it's 77-59 Grizzlies at the half. 3J leads the Grizzlies with 16pts and 6 rebs. Tyus Jones has 13pts and 8 dimes. On the Warriors side, Steph Curry leads them with 19pts and 5 rebs. Draymond Green has 8pts and 5 dimes. Still a game to be made here. Dillon matched up with Steph in the game. A bit chirpy so far in the game. So watch that matchup.

They're about 3 minutes away from putting those demons to rest. At least for now.

This felt in part due to the Warriors being bad, but I'll take it 10 times out of 10. Huge win for us at a time we really needed it. Everyone stepped up.

A well needed win for the Grizzlies. Especially for morale for all the issues that have been happening to them in the past week. Everyone did step up as you stated. Play as a team, the wins will follow. They just have to apply these nuances to the rest of the games moving forward. They are resilient and capable of being the team they are capable of being.

The Warriors have not function in sync this season. Due to losing their key bench members from last season, having to over rely on their younger players(not fully ready). Granted they have played better at home vs on the road. This team may not be as fully effective as they used to. They still cannot be underestimated as they are still a dangerous contender to be dealt with.

Shooting 45% from 3 and winning the rebounding battle for for maybe the first time since Adams went down helps too.

I couldn't get excited for how well we played through the first three quarters (and the first in particular) because it ultimately meant nothing if we couldn't hold on in the fourth. Glad that we finally did - being at home helps alot. Without Ja, we have no closer, and in close games on the road it is glaringly obvious. Maybe Bane or JJJ can develop into one over time.

That would be a huge plus for the Grizzlies.
