Part of this is on Jenkins, too. If you see Dillon is on the way to chucking us out of a game with another signature 3/15 overall and 2/10 on three point attempts night, then you have to pull him early. It's not ideal, but we can get by in stretches alternating Tillman, Roddy, and Bane on Lebron. Besides, it's not like Dillon is exactly locking Lebron up anyway.
I was happy to see Jenkins pull Dillon early in the third quarter (and subbing Kennard in) in game 5. With our injury depleted roster, our margin for error is incredibly thin and reducing Dillon's time on the floor even by a few minutes might be the difference between a W and an L. The Lakers are leaving Dillon open on the perimeter and not even making an effort to close out - it's the same treatment Tony Allen got in the playoffs at the end of the GNG days. His man just sags off and clogs the paint, making life difficult for Ja, JJJ, and everyone else who would venture in the lane.
