The greatest failing of our great nation is the two party system. It's wholly and irrevocably broken.

Agree on that point, this problem was caused by everyone over a long period of time. It's a systemmic problem that's not attributable to any one person, party, organization, piece of legislation, etc. - and trust me, I'm not a fan of Bush in the least.

Andre Allen finds a new school to play, it's Crichton College. Can he get it right this time or what?

What are some of your thoughts on the election now that we have a historical first time African American president elect in Barack Obama?

My take is that is was the most historical event in world history. If an African American can reach what was though the unreachable, then anyone can achieve the impossible. Obama's speech was remarkable to say the least. The way he reached out to the American ppl, no matter what race, political party, nor orientation, says that change has begun and that America will come back from the issues that has stagnated the country for over a while. Change won't happen overnight like Obama said. Through patience, hard work, and determination, this country will eventually get back in the right direction that it needs to go towards.

Most historical event? Exaggerate much?!? Nelson Mandella's election was more significant globally IMO, the falling of the Berlin wall, bombing of Hiroshima/Nagasaki...I could (literally) go on all day. no doubt this election was significant - but in the big scheme of things merely a blip on the global historical map.

Geez never let you computer crash on Thanksgiving Week.

It would have been easier and cheaper just to buy a new one.

That bad. Did a virus caused your computer to crash?

With Plaxico Burress's latest issues with getting arrested and shooting himself in the leg among other things, does anyone see Burress coming back to the Giants after this season or with the Giants do what the Titans did with Adam Jones and let the guy go to another team?

Burress is out of New York. He'll never suit up for the GMen again.

No matter where he goes, I hope he's learned not to carry a loaded weapon in the waistband of his sweatpants in a nightclub. Yeesh.

Burress shouldn't carry a gun period if he won't learn how to use it properly.

Next up, did yall see the Iraqi journalist throw the shoes at Bush over the weekend? That's about as close as Bush has ever been hit with anything during his presidency.

How does Auburn replace Tommy Tuberville with Gene Chizik? Unfortunately Auburn have tried to do away with Tuberville 3 to 4 yrs ago, but he was bringing in the winning numbers during the regular season. He has one bad year and he gets yanked. In comes this Chizik guy with a 5-19 record. As a DC, he helped teams be successful, but as a coach, that's hell nada. Looks like Auburn is about to choke on some bad karma for a while with this guy.

Since the Super Bowl is on Sunday, which team some of you are going for to win the Lombardi trophy?

I'm going with the Steelers. They have the defense to force Warner into rushing his passes and get some INTs as a result. Also, Larry Fitzgerald needs to know what it's like to be contained by the Steelers defense. Lastly so Chris Vernon can finally shut the hell up about the Steelers being the fake Cowboys. The only fake Cowboys around were the Cowboys themselves after the reckless season they played.

The Cowboys waived TO and S Roy Williams today and save some money with the moves. Which team some of you feel will become TO's next ruined team? I'm thinking

Vikings
Ravens
Jets
Bears
Panthers

TO finds himself as a member of the Buffalo Bills. He signed a one yr deal over the weekend. Good luck Buffalo.

No lose situation for the Bills. Chances are, TO will be on better than his best behavior. It's also a chance for the Bills to find out what Edwards is really made of. If it pans out, they can shell out money (or draft) for another high profile receive to play along side Evans. TO has typically produced in the first year on the scene for a new team. The Bills should be no different.

Apparently somebody or some ppl don't like Tim Floyd enough that they wish to expose him on how he obtain OJ Mayo for USC. Here's the thing, it's common knowledge that coaches in general play the bribe/boosters game. Meaning whoever out bribe the other school wins the best player and his services. My guess is that some ppl probably outsider fans probably within the USC circle(alumni/boosters) may have grown bored of Floyd and perhaps are looking for certain solutions to get him out of USC. Even if it means gettign the school penalized by the NCAA itself.

From what I read in the paper on Wednesday, his dribble skills and perimeter shooting is questionable at best. He's basically another player like Thad Young was back in Mitchell High. Tall player north of 6'8 to 6'9 who dominates players under 6'1 in high school. Basically no competition so he can simply bully his way in the post w/o fail.

Now, now SD - not so fast - everyone knows high school is for chumps. 5 Stars earn their stripes on the AAU circuit, where Latavious excelled.

Here's some AAU footage for reference:
