The experts and the so-called experts have placed their opinions on the Grizzlies upcoming season, good, bad, and indifferent. Now it's time to hear from us, the fans. We know from the obvious that no playoffs will be in the M-town for a while. We will be looking forward to a young team who as a group are on a journey to finding themeselves in the NBA. Considering that what are the expectations you the fans have towards this team as the season?
My expectations are that I'm expecting the Grizz to win between 22 to 26 games this season. Trades were made this offseason which involved getting back new rookie O.J. Mayo. The Grizz will be playing with half a new deck. With the lacking issues of strong leadership, rebounding, and overall NBA experience, this season looks to be a tough road ahead. At the same time, we will get to know O.J. Mayo during his rookie season plus get to see him alongside Rudy Gay and Mike Conley Jr. And find out if they have the potential to form a formible trio on the floor and provide the fans some entertainment with the rest of the team during this season.

24 wins, unless the Grizz pull off a major trade. Don't see that happening though.

22-25W
We are not winning so much games this year but this team will be fun to watch. I just hope injuries respect our players, Our rookies and sophomore improve fast, and Rudy takes importance, in scoring and on the defensive end. I hope he becomes an allstar soon, he's able to do it tho playing in a 25Wins team.
To sum up, from now on Im a Marc Gasol fan. hehehe, ill keep an eye on him. he will be the C every contender needs. Time will tell.

Hopefully Gasol will become that center the Grizz desperately need in the future.

Anywhere from 20 to 27 wins. Team will be strong on the perimeter, yet too inexperienced up front. The overall inexperience won't help either. Team will be more entertaining to watch and should have their brightest overall future. But for a team that actually has a Bryant Reeves era, thats not saying much.

Using Barba's spread, I am going to say 11-33 wins.
I think they will realistically win 24 with no trade. I also think Mayo will be rookie of the year unless Oden wins it because he is Oden. I don't think he will win it because of the numbers that he puts up this year.

I don't think Barba's was a spread, but a record of 30-52.
I'll say the Grizz will win somewhere between 20 to 25 games this year (but may struggle to even get 20). If they get to 30, the future will look bright indeed.

HA!!! I guess I should have added the two numbers together to figure out that they added up to 82!
Ok... I've changed my mind after watching a few preseason games and will guess 28-54.

Re: Let's Be Real
I think 30 wins in the max this team can get, and I think 26 or 27 is where we'll actually finish. As for goals beyond that, all I want to see is growth and progression of our young players individually and as a team - so if we're still playing in March like we're going to play in November, I'll be disappointed.
