Read that and when he confirmed I assumed it was correct. If it wasn't, I'll change back my roster 2morrow.

his math is off, he may have a TPE.

Plus his 3 RFA's are not listed on his roster anyway (he may have declined to offer the QO to them)

3 team deal to announce:

Dallas Gets:
Jeff Foster
2011 1st (from Miami)
2010 #41
2010 #42
2010 #43
(Dallas sends out more salary than it takes in.)

Miami Gets:
Shane Battier
(Miami is far enough under the cap.)

Indiana Gets:
#45
(Indiana sends out more salary than it takes in.)

Miami accepts. Our goal is to build a team that can win RIGHT NOW. Battier is a perfect fit next to Dwyane Wade, who we hope will be even more likely to re-sign after this deal. And while four picks is a lot to give up, three are second rounders, which we feel are a crapshoot anyway, and we hope the 2011 1st will be at or near 30.

Dallas accepts i didn't think battier would contribute much if he didn't get the playing time...So i decided to deal him for Foster who i think is a very good defender...and would be very good in the role he would get on this team...The picks and other stuff aren't bad either..

2012 Miami 2nd
*NJ is far enough under the cap to take on the salary so deal works
(creating a $4,225,611 TPE for Boston)

Boston does this as a cost cutting move. This saves us almost $5 mil this season and if we decide to renounce the rites to our free agents it will make us a player in the FA market. CDR is a decent prospect that scored almost 10 ppg on a bad team

OKC out going: "three mil in cash"

SAC town outgoing: 59th overall pick or in other terms "2010 Orlando 2nd"

WHy? frankly we need some players on our pathetic bench.

This gives up Garrett Temple and 59th pick as our sixth and 7th man! heck ya

Minnesota accepts. Three draft choices this year is enough, and we hope that one of those picks next year will turn out to be a high second-rounder.

Was looking to get back in the 1st pick up somebody i think has a bright future in the NBA...

EDIT: swapped 56th pick to 50th pick...

A cost cutting move that gives me about 12 million in caproom to play with this offseason.

LAC outgoing:
Andre Iguodala - $12,200,000

Brook Lopez - $2,413,320
Rudy Fernandez - $1,246,680
rights to Sofoklis Schortsanitis (Los Angeles Clippers, 34th overall) )

DAL outgoing:
Brandon Roy - $13,520,500
Shawn Marion.......$7,305,500

We've been looking to add that "star" to our team, and we get him in Roy. We give up our franchise C and a very good wing player in Iggy, but the chance to pair up Westbrook and Roy was to much to pass up. We will continue to cut salary and try to add a max guy to our core.

Westbrook/Roy/Marion/Odom/Gortat we feel is a fast-break machine that can play defense at a high level and compete for a title.

GS trades: Kelenna Azubuike ($3,300,000) and the 35th pick

Salary works as Chicago is under the cap

We do this to get another cheap SG who can play defense and hit the 3, platooning with Courtney Lee and being a good compliment to Rose and two max free agents.

Boston is sending Rasheed Wallace ($6,322,320) to Toronto for the TPE they got in the Hedo Turkoglu deal.

Sheed was the last vet remaining here in Boston and was not a happy camper. This deal will allow him to compete in Toronto. Boston does this to gain even more cap space for our dream of landing a MAX FA this summer

Rondo/DeMar/J.Green/Bargani/Perkins with Aminu, G.Davis and CDR is a solid core of young talant waiting the guidance of a mega superstar!

Edit: my mistake on this one. The TPE counts against the cap in this scenario so the deal is approved.

Indiana accepts. Foster isn't getting younger and I have a log-jam at center. He was a great part of our team for years and we are glad to see him go to a contender.

Deal, I get Odom and don't have to worry about my PF gap anymore.

How can Houston take that salary? He is above the cap (even without having Scola, Lowry, and Armstrong on hios roster which he needs to add if he offered them the QO) before the deal, Houston's team salary is $57,533,817 even with not offering Scola, Lowry and Armstrong a QO and waiving all Bird rite's to players and his MLE

Agreed, this deal doesn't work.

Houston, you need to update your salary total, not sure how you got $34m.

Boston and Dallas have agreed to a deal

Boston will send
C.Douglas-Roberts $854,389 x1.25 + 100,000 = $1,167,986
pick #52 (Boston 2nd)
Boston's 2011 1st

to Dallas for
R.Fernandez $1,075,440

Rudy gives us the shooting we were lacking. It is really risky trading our pick because we are not sure how our youth will fit together, but Rudy is a guy I have been trying for since the biggining of the game

Portland Trailblazers and Indiana Pacers have agreed a blockbuster trade.

Portland sends a 2012 2nd in exchange for the 57th pick in 2010.

Portland wants to add another rookie this season; and figure if all goes to plan the 2012 2nd will only be around 57th anyway. Portland accepts.

the Lakers and Washington have agreed to a trade

Washington will send
Jason Kapono $6,641,440

to the Lakers for
Sasha Vujacic $5,475,113 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $6,943,891

The Lakers add the shooting SF they were looking to add. Jason is coming off his worst 3 point shooting season of his career (37%), but I think that is because he was on a really bad team. When he played with stars, he was automatic. And playing with Billups and Garnett and this Kobe guy, Jason will get plenty of wide open 3's. Welcome back home to Los Angeles.

OKC and Dallas have FINALLY came to a deal after 3 GM a Teams...haha

OKC outgoing:

Kevin Martin $10,600,005

Dallas Outgoing:

Caron Butler $10,561,960
Chris Douglas - Roberts $854,389
Jodie Meeks $762,195
Rights to Manny Harris

cleary the salaries work.

We do this deal for a few reasons... We have ALOT of offense, and while Butler is still a good offensive player, he brings ALOT more Defense and Toughness then Kmart does. This addresses a need. THis deal also gets us a few bench players, who are young and play hard, which is what we want on our bench. Finally good dealing Dallas.

The LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors have agree to the following:

The Warriors will send:
Corey Maggette : 9,600,000
Ronny Turiaf: 4,000,000
Total: 13,600,000

The Clippers will send a 2012 2nd round pick

Generates a 13.6 TPE

Maggette and Turiaf no longer fit our long term plans. We're excited to finally give our young guys some PT.

Miami and Atlanta have agreed to a trade:

Miami gives/Atlanta gets: Kenny Hasbrouck, Malik Hairston, Alonzo Gee, Curtis Jerrells, Kyle Weaver
Atlanta gives/Miami gets: 2011 2nd, 2012 2nd

This works because all the players are on minimum deals.

Miami accepts. None of these guys were in our future plans, so we're glad to pick up a couple of picks.

This trade does not work.

LAC already has $43,670,560 in salaries; with 6 empty roster spots before this trade. As the cap is $55m, $13.6m is about $4m too much to absorb, especially when you also consider the 4 x $500k min salary cap holds that would still be required.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.
