ALL OF IT.
SERIOUSLY.

0.) You must respond to deals proposed to you (A simple no works just fine, do not ignore trades) and you must be able to get online on a consistent basis. If you can't make it for a few days (vacation, exams, etc) just let the commissioner (me) know via email. There will be random "check-in" threads over the course of the game. If you don't post in the thread within 2-3 days and other GMs can't get a hold of you, you will be replaced.
1.) All rosters must be completely up-to-date before trades will be approved. See roster thread for more details regarding what must be included in your roster post. Trades will not be approved until then.
2.) Trades will be approved ASAP as long as they meet all roster/CBA requirements.
3.) I reserve the right to veto trades as league manager should I feel the trade is collaboration.
4.) Should I veto a trade, if three people (not those involved) e-mail me to reconsider my opinion I’ll get an independent observer to make a decision regarding the trade.
5a.) Each team will start with $3M cash to use towards buyouts. Cash cannot be used as salary filler in a trade, but as a trade asset. A single trade may not include more than $3M being sent from one team to another.
6a.) Salary cap is set at 60 million, luxury tax is set at 75 million, and the hard cap is set at 90 million.
6b.) Teams already over the hard cap can only receive less salary in trade until they are below the cap.
7.) Free agent contract limitations will be based on the CBA.
8.) Teams must spend at least 75% of the cap during the “regular season.” This means the salary floor is $45 million. Teams below this during "regular season" will not be allowed to make trades until they are above it.
9.) Draft order will be based on submitted rankings and then the draft order will be done through the RealGM Lottery Simulator. GMs will make selections in the first round of the draft and the 2nd round will be auto-picked in an attempt to speed the game up.
10.) Final game rankings will be based on how much your team has progressed from beginning to the end.
11a.) You may only trade picks through the year 2018.
11b.) There are no restrictions on picks traded,
11c.) All trades should state clearly protections involved.
11d.) All protections must be listed on picks, even future picks.
12.) In order to be crowned winner, full write-ups and rankings must be submitted.
13a.) Failure to give me proper notice that you need a replacement will result in a suspension from these games for one game after this one. Repeat offenders may be banned for multiple games.
13b.) It's up to the commish of the future games to enforce this rule.
14.) I reserve the right, as commish, to add rules as I deem fit to protect the integrity of the game.
Trades
1.) This thread is for trades ONLY, do not clutter this up with discussions.
2.) All trades must be numbered.
3.) Make sure your roster is up to date before posting trade, otherwise trades will not be approved.
4.) All sides must agree to the trade within 24 hours or it needs to be re-posted.
5.) All salaries must be listed and all math shown to fall within 150% or 5 million (whichever is lesser) for non-tax paying teams or 125% + $100,000 for tax paying teams.
6a.) I reserve the right, as commish, to nix any trade that I deem to break the "spirit of the game".
6b.) My veto can be temporarily suspended when 3 posters (does not include any involved) e-mail me asking me to review the veto.
6c.) In the event that a suspension of a veto occurs, I'll contact a veteran poster (like roc, TMAC, or someone of the like) to make the final decision on the trade, which will stand.
7.) Once roster limits will go into effect during the “regular season”, roster must stay within 12-to-15 roster limit.
8.) All approved trades will be posted in the ‘Trade Approval’ thread.
If you show that you can't consistently follow these very simple rules, you run the risk of being removed as GM. No questions asked. If you think you might need to be replaced, PLEASE let me know before hand.

NEW SIGN UP RULES
1.) 250 posts is the minimum post count you must have to play UNLESS a veteran poster is willing to vouch for you. If you're just short, start posting elsewhere.
2.) Once we have 30 people sign up, I'll have a 24 hour grace period to allow any "late" sign ups.
3.) I'm assigning GMs based on merit, so if you've played in many games before you're almost assured of a spot.
4.) After that 24 hour grace period, I'll assign teams and you may begin trading once your roster page is fully up to date.
