New Orleans Hornets Receive:

PF Chuck Hayes ($1,972,500)
Outgoing: $12,572,505
Max Income: $15,815,631.25

Rockets accept

We get a legitimate 20/10 player who given the right supporting cast can very well be among the top ten power forwards in the NBA. We also get a much better depth with Trevor Ariza, and allows us the flexibility to move Shane Battier.

NOH Accepts, we needed to make up for the loss of Pauls scoring and martin fits the bill very nicely.

Houston Rockets Receive:
PG Jeff Teague ($1,476,840)
SG Jamal Crawford ($10,080,000)
2012 1st Round Pick
Outgoing: $11,556,840

Atlanta Hawks Receive:
SG Terrence Williams ($2,214,480)
SF Shane Battier ($7,354,500)
Outgoing: $9,568,980
Max Incoming: $12,061,225

Rockets accept

It's hard to part ways with Shane Battier, but given that the Rockets recently reacquired Trevor Ariza, it made Shane Battier expendable. Also, given the trade of Kevin Martin, it left a rather large hole at SG, which Jamal Crawford is more than capable of playing well at.

Confirmed. We had a hole at SF that Battier can fill nicely. His elite defense and above average 3 point shooting compliments our starting 5 nicely.

The Phoenix Suns and the New York Knicks have agreed upon a trade.

The Knicks send Wesley Johnson ($3,726,600) in exchange for Marcin Gortat ($6,322,320).

The deal works as the Knicks are under the salary cap.

Suns accept, we're bored, and we like Wes.

In a follow up deal, the Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers have agreed upon a trade in two parts.

The Suns send Wesley Johnson ($3,726,600), Robin Lopez ($1,867,320), and Hakim Warrick ($4,250,000) in exchange for Andre Iguodala ($12,345,250).

Suns Outgoing/Sixers Incoming: $9,843,920 X 1.25 + 100k = $12,404,900.

In part 2 contingent on part 1, the Suns will send their Earl Clark TPE ($1,898,760) in exchange for Marreese Speights ($1,773,960).

Suns accept, we like what Igoudala can bring to our team.

the cleveland cavaliers and atlanta hawks have a deal to announce

to cleveland:
mike bibby
terrence williams

to atlanta:
mo williams

presser:
"We in the cavaliers organization realize the desperate need for a new begining after the lebron saga and the recent rash of losing. we firmly believe that this deal is a good one for our future. williams has had a great rookie campaign and we are confident he can bounce back. addtionally, bibbys deal expires a year ahead of williams which gives us future flexibility. we thank mr williams for his contributions to the organizations and we wish him best of luck on the hawks." - General Manager

ATL and CLE have a trade to announce.

ATL outgoing:
Mike Bibby $5,764,767
Terrence Williams$2,214,480

CLE outgoing:
Maurice Williams $9,300,000

Mo is balling right now, and we feel his ability to shoot the 3 ball and play off a dominant wing is perfect for our team.

Accept. Johnson definitely has more potential, and Gortat's about to turn 27, but it's very tough to get productive centers. Gortat's been playing extremely well lately, getting several double doubles. Wasn't too high on Johnson anyways.

Indiana Trades
Paul George ($2,238,600)
TJ Ford ($8,500,000)
Jeff Foster ($6,655,000)
Total: $17,393,600 (x1.25 = 21,742,000)

Memphis Trades
Zach Randolph ($17,666,666)
Hamed Haddadi ($1,600,000)
Total: $19,266,666

Indiana does this to acquire a very talented 20/10 PF to make one of the league's best starting frontcourts. We hate to lose the promising future of Paul George, but are excited to see what this team can do.

Confirmed: We love Paul George's potential, as a longterm starter or as a trade piece, and ZBo would probably have cost too much to retain anyway.

Contingent on my last trade being approved, Charlotte and Memphis have agreed to a deal:

13:

Luol Deng ($11,345,000)
Tyrus Thomas ($6,611,570)
Matt Carroll ($4,300,000)
Derrick Brown ($762,195)

Total = $23,018,765

for

OJ Mayo ($4,456,200)
Hasheem Thabeet ($4,793,280)
TJ Ford ($8,500,000)
Darrell Arthur ($1,123,680)

Total = $18,873,160 * 1.25 = $23,591,450

Why for Memphis:

We get a quality starter back in Luol Deng. We think he can play alongside Gay at the 4 in a small lineup, and his defense and rebounding and age fit well with our core. Thomas is a quality backup at the 4 as well. It sucks taking on Carroll, but Mayo and Thabeet have worn out their welcomes here anyway.

Charlotte accepts, and apologize for updating its roster before its trade was approved. If its a huge deal I can go de-update it, but it took a long time to do as the commish knows

As for this deal, we dump a steaming pile of financial mess in Memphis lap, while picking up the large expiring contract of T,J Ford. M.J will not let O.J fail, be assured of that, and we expect big things from Darrell Arthur and Hasheem as they continue to develop. Hasheem will not be rushed in his development.
