Utah Trades

Al Jefferson - $14,000,000
Devin Harris - $9,319,000
2012 GSW 1st

Total outgoing = $23,319,000

LA Lakers Trade

Andrew Bynum - $14,900,000
Steve Blake - $4,000,000

Total = $18,900,000 (x 1.25 + $100k = $23,725,000 - deal works)

Why for Utah? We need an elite defensive Center, and feel Bynum is top 5 in the league. We also save some cash. Bynum/Favors creates a monstrous defensive front court built for the long-run.

Pistons accept. This deal because we get a nice asset in a top 10 pick, we get two expiring contracts to help out financially AND we get a guy in Salmons who is very solid--we feel his numbers last year were just an allusion and that he has a lot of good game left in the tank.

C.J. Watson $3,400,000

We trade for the 22 year old MVP. Rose has great size, put up 25/8/4 on good defense and carried his team to the playoffs. Ronnie Brewer is a nice defensive SG, and Watson is good depth as well. Good dealing CHI.

OKC outgoing: James Harden (4,604,760) + Russell Westbrook (5,082,416) = 9,687,176

Boston accepts, while we give up an awful lot of young talent we get back a very solid player in Westbrook and a developing player in Harden.

Boston accepts, we wanted to mix up the team when we started and this would definitely count as that. Losing the "big 3" hurt, but this is a move that we feel we just have to do.

Danny Granger $12,015,904

Deal works because Indiana has a ton of capspace.

NJ accepts, because we get a 2nd star next to Williams that has a very good contract, which allows us to add quality in FA. Losing Lopez hurts a lot, because he is a really nice C, but we save $6,137,794 with this deal to go after FA's and we prefer a defensive C + rebounder.

PHI 2nd 2014

Why for NJ? New Jersey does this deal to have a crap ton of cap space to go after the big names in FA + we add picks for other deals.

we both posted the deal, here is how it is exactly, the Lou Williams TPE is smaller then this, but still works because you can add 100k to a tpe for salary match. Nice easy dealing NJ!

Philly sends
pick #54, PHIL 2013 2nd, PHIL 2014 2nd
TPE (from L.Williams trade $3,939,280)
$3,939,280 + 100,000 = $4,039,280 > $4,000,000

NJ sends
A.Morrow $4,000,000

Philly accepts, we really hate losing picks of any sort, but Morrow is a guy we can build with. A deadly shooter that fits well in our plans

Trade approved. Misread Larry Coon's FAQ. This deal is passed. Please update your rosters.

The Heat accept.

It's tough parting ways with Dwayne Wade, who brought the Heat a championship, but we needed new blood in here. I'm a big fan of Tyreke Evans and think he's about to blowup into a superstar. Andre Iguodala continues to help out our defense and between him and LeBron James, we've got a couple of really good defenders. I like Toney Douglass as well. Good, solid role player.

Another draft night dealing has occurred between the Chicago Bulls and LA Lakers who have a mystery player projected at the 13 spot. Will #13 be lucky for the Lakers stay tuned.

Chi trades
#13 2011

for

LA #15 #2011
2012 second

and #1 pick top 30 protected 2012,2013,2014,2015.
If pick is not conveyed by 2015 Chi recieves an additional 2015 second rd pick.

Chi believes that their player will still be there at 15.

Los Angeles accepts this deal. We feel that with the stock of the players we are interested in rising by the day, that this was a necessary move in which we needed to make to insure we are in position to obtain one of these players.

Memphis and Chicago have a trade.

Chicago in / Memphis out:
Greivis Vasquez - $1,113,600
Alonzo Gee - $884,293 (non-guaranteed)
2011 Cleveland 2nd (#32)
Total salaries - $1,997,893

Memphis in / Chicago out:
Omer Asik - $1,857,200

Memphis accepts. The lack of a solid backup center hurt the Grizzlies this year, and we love Asik's defense in that role.

Chicago Accepts

With the additions of Jevale MgGee and Melmut Okur Asik while a valueable contributor to the team was pushed down to 4th in the depth chart.

Chi with its recent series of trades had a lack of wing players so win win for both teams.
Chi intends to find a hidden gem in the 2nd round just like Asik.

Nice doing business with you Memphis.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and New York Knicks have agreed on the following trade:

New York Knicks receive:
SF Andres Nocioni ($6,650,000)
PF Samardo Samuels ($788,872)

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
SF Marvin Williams ($8,050,000)
2011 1st RND (#17)

Cleveland accepts this deal.

Cleveland likes this deal because we gain a young talent on the wing and another young player at the #17 pick.

Deal works

NYK accepts. We get an expiring for Marvin, and Samuels for the #17. Samuels was 8/4 this year, and I believe he could be the next Al Jefferson, but more athletic, and we feel he's better at anything that's at #17.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers announce a major Sign & Trade:

Los Angeles Clippers receive:
F/C Anderson Varejao ($7,950,000)
C Jason Thompson ($3,001,284)
2011 1st RND (#27)
2012 1st RND (Cavaliers) (unprotected)
2013 1st RND (Kings) (unprotected)

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
C DeAndre Jordan ($10,000,000) (signs 5 year/$50 million contract)
2011 2nd (#47)

Cleveland accepts this deal. Even with BYC, this deal works because Clippers are under the cap.

We gave up alot of assets in two unprotected future 1sts, late 1st this year, and Anderson Varejao. But we feel it is time to accelerate the "New Look Cavs" with Kyrie Irving, JJ Hickson and DeAndre Jordan as a foundation.
