All In The Name wrote:Miami and Atlanta have agreed to a trade:

Miami gives/Atlanta gets: Kenny Hasbrouck, Malik Hairston, Alonzo Gee, Curtis Jerrells, Kyle Weaver
Atlanta gives/Miami gets: 2011 2nd, 2012 2nd

This works because all the players are on minimum deals.

Miami accepts. None of these guys were in our future plans, so we're glad to pick up a couple of picks.

Atlanta accepts. Need to fill roster spots and this trade will help me match salaries for some future trades.

Dallas Gets:
Thaddeus Young $2,901,940
Willie Green $3,976,000

Philadelphia Gets:
Jeff Foster $6,655,000
Rights' to Terrico White
Rights' to Dexter Pittman
2011 Dallas 1st

Dallas does it because i needed a back up SF....and it fills out my rotation at least 3 man deep at almost every position....

Nice dealing Philly...

Once the Butler / Kmart trade has been approved,

The OKC thunder, Charlotte bobcats, and Portland Trailblazers have agreed to a deal.

OKC outgoing:

Caron Butler $10,561,960
Jodie Meeks $762,195
Manny Harris $750,000
Garrett Temple $762,195

OKC incomming:

Gerald Wallace $9,500,000
DJ White $1,108,680

Charlotte outgoing:

Gerald Wallace $9,500,000

Charlotte incomming:

Caron Butler $10,561,960
Jodie Meeks $762,195
Manny Harris $750,000

Portland outgoing:

DJ White $1,108,680

Portland incomming:

Garrett Temple $762,195

Obviously the salaries work.

WHY for OKC?
We can not pass up another Allstar on our team. Gforce is exactly what the doctor ordered for this team. He brings so much energy, toughness, tenasity, and defense. On Defense he will guard the best wing, on Offense he will play the three. On Defense this will allow Kevin Durant to guard the lesser wing, and on Offense play the shooting guard, basically making my team unguardable. Kevin and Gerald are just about the perfect combo together. Also, DJ White is valued in OKC alot more then anywhere else. We love what he brings off our bench. Good Dealing with everyone.

Portland accepts.

DJ White became surplus to requirements as 4th string PF, so we get to cut a bit of salary and bring in a back court player in Temple.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

The San Antonio Spurs and the New Jersey Nets have agreed to a trade.

Spurs Outgoing/Nets Incoming
Richard Jefferson $15,200,000
Rights to Tiago Splitter
Dominique Jones $1,118,000

Nets Outgoing/Spurs Incoming
Luol Deng $11,345,000
Reggie Evans $5,080,000

Spurs accept. We feel that while we may be overpaying a little, Deng is a better player and a much better fit for us. Splitter would require the MLE to bring over, and since our front-court is already pretty crowded, we're looking to use it elsewhere. Jones would see little to no playing time in our back-court. Evans is expiring filler.

LAC and HOU have a trade to announce.

LAC outgoing:
Lamar Odom - $8,200,000
Shawn Marion - $7,305,500

HOU outgoing:
Trevor Ariza - $6,322,320
Delonte West - $4,500,000
DeJuan Blair - $918,000
Daniel Green - $762,195

We grab the perfect SF for us in Ariza, he in only 24 and as a 3rd or 4th option he can go back to the same role he had with the Lakers. Ariza has shown he can thrive (especially defensively) beside a superstar SG (Kobe, now Roy). Blair is a great rebounder and Delonte can play all the backup PG/SG minutes effectively. We save money and get younger, and we feel comfortable going into FA. Good dealing HOU.

^Accepted, Odom is a great PF next to Yao and he and Marion easily fills the hole left by trading Ariza.

Nets accept. Deng deserves to start elsewhere and the opportunity to contend in San Antonio is one of the ideal situation for him. With Cousins, Griffin and Orton, we need someone like Splitter who is seasoned enough to round out our main frontcourt rotation.

Rich Jefferson add's veteran presence in our wing rotation and expire the following year. We might be looking at moving him to another contender depending on the available opportunity.

Dominique Jones is a decent asset to have and could be one of the sleepers of this draftclass.

The Wizards and Clippers have agreed to a trade.

Wizards trade / Clippers receive:
Nick Young - $2,630,503
Javale McGee - $1,601,040
Al Thornton - $2,814,196
Total Salaries - $7,045,739

Clippers trade / Wizards receive:
James Harden - $4,304,520
Marcin Gortat - $6,322,320
Delonte West - $4,500,000
Total Salaries - 15,126,840

Wizards have enough salary space (over $11 million) to make this deal work.

Wizards accept. While we understand that we are giving up a large chunk of our available salary, we feel like the players we acquired are better than anyone we had a realistic chance to sign for that same price. Harden gives us a great complementary player to start alongside John Wall, forming a very young and dynamic backcourt. Gortat, while some consider him overpaid, is a player who we feel wasn't able to perform to his full potential sitting behind Dwight Howard. Finally, West is an established veteran on a good-sized expiring contract, bringing our 2011 expiring contracts to roughly 30 million dollars. We look forward to potentially making an offer to Carmelo Anthony next offseason.

Confirmed. Obviously this is a move that is motivated by the upcoming FA class. Harden was a tough piece to give up however he wouldn't see much time behind Roy, so we wish him all the best playing beside John Wall in the east. We grab a young center we really like in McGee (14/9 per36, 22 yrs old), and two nice young bench pieces in Young and Thorton.

Most of all though we can offer a max contract this offseason.

Bulls and OKC have agreed on a trade

Bulls trade JJ Barea ($1,815,000)
OKC trades Luke Harangody ($750,000) and Elijah Milsap ($750,000 unguaranteed) - total $1,500,000 x 1.25 = $1,875,000

Bulls accept and waive Milsap as soon as the deal is completed. This gives us enough room for two max free agents, and increases our leverage in sign and trade deals.

Accepted.

We get the ideal back up for tony parker in this deal. We dont feel that there are very many good PG's that can be had cheaply in this years FA class, so bring him in with 1.8 million dollars is all worth it. Good dealing

There have been two more veto requests on this trade. I will allow it to run the full course of 24 hours before I raise this with someone not playing the game before making a decision.

Charlotte GM, when you accept this trade please make sure you justify your decision so we can make a fair judgement. Thanks.
