Dallas and Toronto have a trade:

Dallas trades:
Kyle Lowry($5,750,000) + Linas Kleiza($4,605,000) + Francisco Garcia($5,800,000) +John Lucas($947,907) 2011 Dallas and GS 2nds + 2012 GS 2nd $17,102,907 x 1.25 = $21,378,633

Toronto Trades:Marcus Camby($12,866,332) + Andre Miller($7,807,728) = $20,674,060

dallas accepts...this makes us really really old, but we feel we can win a title, and if not....we have nearly $50,000,000 in expirings to try to rebuild our team in 2012.

Toronto accepts. Ultimately for the #5 pick, we get Kyle Lowry, a player who we coveted from the start. We feel he's our PG of the future. He along with DeMar DeRozan, Nic Batum and Ed Davis will form four fifths of our starting lineup for years to come. the three second round draft picks will hopefully help produce a couple of role players. We have a glut of SFs so we need to move one. Smooth dealings Dallas, $50 million (EXP)...

In a surprising draft night move, Charlotte and Oklahoma City have agreed to swap lottery picks. The rights to Derrick Williams will go to Charlotte, while Oklahoma City will get the rights to Bismack Biyombo as well as Charlotte's unprotected 2012 and 2013 1st round picks*.

*Note: Charlotte's 2012 pick belongs to Chicago, but is lottery protected (2012-top 14, 2013-top 12, 2014-top 10, 2015-top 8, 2016-unprotected). If the pick is not conveyed to Chicago in 2012, Oklahoma City will get it. If Chicago is conveyed the pick in the 2012 draft, Oklahoma City will receive Charlotte's 2013 1st round pick, and the second pick owed would be conveyed the following year.

OKC accepts. We love the potential of Bismack. We feel that pairing him with fellow Congolese big man Ibaka will help both of their careers, especially with Ricky Rubio's passing ability. We also believe the future picks could end up being very valuable assets with some strong draft classes upcoming.

We accept.
Honestly after that Det deal got cancelled I was ready to quit. But this trade brought new meaning for the city of Charlotte. We now have someone to build around in Derrick Williams. Good dealing Klomp.

P.s. hopefull the detroit deal will still work out.

Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls have agreed to the following trade:

Chicago Bulls receive:
2011 2nd (#47)
2011 2nd (#48)
F Joey Graham ($1,106,941)

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
2011 1st (#30)
G Greivis Vasquez ($1,113,600)

Cleveland accepts. We like moving up to grab a talent with the last pick of the 1st round as well as a nice, cheap option off the bench in Vasquez.

trade confirmed in a draft such as this one extra picks give extra chances for a gem plus team would rather have a vet as third pg

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons have agreed to the following separate trades:

Trade #1:
Detroit Pistons receive:
Traded Player Exception (LeBron James) ($6,170,086)

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
F James Posey ($7,595,600)
2012 1st RND

Cleveland accepts this deal. This deal works because Posey's salary is less than 125% plus $100,000. Cleveland is thrilled to take on Posey's expiring for a 2012 1st RND pick.

Trade #2:
Detroit Pistons receive:
G Greivis Vasquez ($1,113,600)

Cleveland Cavaliers receive:
2011 2nd RND (#35)
2011 2nd RND (#60)

Detroit has the cap room to make this deal work and Cleveland like the pick near the top of the 2nd Round.

Pistons accept. You never like to give away 1st rd picks, especially in a talent saturated pool like the 2012 and 2013 drafts, but the new Piston's are playoff bound and we're operating in the now at the moment--there are always teams out there willing to sell 1st round picks, so no big loss there. We were able to shave off Posey's 7.5 million contract which helps us a lot in free agency this year. We also didn't feel there was anyone left near the top of the 2nd rd this year could come in an make an impact and that's just a risk we can take anymore. Vasquez on the other hand is a fiery, big combo guard who CAN and WILL step right in and run our offense. We love his grittiness and tenacity that he not only displayed during his rookie year in Memphis, but during his college tenure in Maryland.

guys, as I told both of you in emails and posted in the discussion thread, real life TPE's from FA have expired and can not longer be used. You need TPEs created during the nba season or in this game, or cap space to use a TPE now that free agency has opened. That is the CBA rule that you need to follow

commish stated FA started and we moved past the draft. he aloowed FA signings and trades (you are involved in one of them) which means it is now after July and TPE's from last offseason are expired. I stated many times that this is why FA could not start till after draft but nobody listened. Follwing the CBA is rule #1 for these games, there have been exceptions, for trading guys and picks. But you must follow CBA

New Orleans gets cap room and young players.
Minnesota gets a very athletic Josh Smith.

minnesota accepts as we add another all star calliber player

Minnesota and Boston have agreed to a deal...

Boston trades: Jason Maxiell (5,000,000) + Austin Daye (1,929,600) = 6,929,600

Minnesota trades: Beno Udrih = 6,925,400

Boston accepts, we really don't have a ton of use for Maxiell and we want to go in another direction with our backup SF in Daye. Overall we get a solid PG in Udrih and this gives us flexibility to move a guy like Kirk Hinrich if we should choose.

Actually SamBone, the James TPE lasts until July 11th, and assuming a seven day moratorium from July 1st when the new year starts, they would actually have four days to use that TPE. Not to mention, there was an article a while back specifically about how that the TPE could still be used ASSUMING there was no hold out.

evry other game TPEs from previous off season expire before the current free agency period, just like the partial guaranteee because 1 day here NEVER equals a day in real life. But again, rules have never been followed this round, so why should this be any different. Its your world man, i will not correct any of these mistakes again!

GSW and NYK have agreed to a blockbuster trade:

TO NYK:
Monta Ellis ($11,000,000)
Dorrel Wright ($3,823,000)
David Lee ($11,610,000)

Total: 26,433,000

TO GSW:
Derrick Rose ($6,993,708)
Travis Outlaw ($7,000,000)
Bill Walker ($916,100)
Andres Nocioni ($6,650,000)

Total: 21,559,808 * 1.25 = 26,999,760

Deal works!

NYK accepts. We really don't like to lose the MVP of the league, but we do cut Outlaw's contract. Ellis is the most underrated 25ppg scorer (in my mind) and he can provide the scoring lost by Rose. The other 2 (Lee and Wright) will be dealt shortly.

How are they mistakes? If we were really going to be a stickler about time/days, we wouldn't be playing games that last a month long. We'd drag them out much longer.

We lose 3 starters in the process, but we gain the MVP of the league. Although this trade created a log jam at PG, its not a bad problem to have. Plus, we think Outlaw can have some sort of a "renaissance" in our team as a 6th man because he played that role back in Portland, he's one year removed from an injury(last year was the year AFTER the injury) so he'll probably bounce back and surprisingly, just 27 years old so he fits our "young, veteran" team
