I would trade Ariza in a deal for Rubio.

Sure. My salary should be below the tax post trade, so I just need to get within matching.

I hate to say this for a bunch of reasons, but can I send you back....
Spoiler:
Michael Beasley $1,403,611

That moves it into the 150% matching and then my final roster is:

Beverly/Knight/ Terry????
Harden /KJ McDaniels / Knight
Deng/ Joe Johnson
Jones / Harrell
Capela / Motie

And you add Chinanu Onuaku & Zhou Qi for depth, or some undrafted guys that surprise everyone in summerleague.

Probably play a bunch of small ball:
Beverly/Knight
Harden
Joe Johnson
Deng
Capela / Motie

Cavs accept they don't know the CBA very well with the Wood signing, but are still very excited to lock him up using a third of the mini MLE. The roster now is almost complete, Delly is still hoping someone offers him more money but the Cavs decide to keep their initial offer out to him..
Mr Duje Dukan wasn't even flown to Cleveland before being dropped from the team. Sorry, buddy.

T. Thompson / K. Koufos / S. Kaun
K. Love / C. Frye / C. Wood
L. James / R. Jefferson / C. Osman
I. Shumpert / J. Smith / R. McRae
K. Irving / M. Williams

While waiting on Matty.. Not the most exciting offseason, but bringing Osman over early is seen as big win for us. Hope he ends up taking Jefferson's minutes by the playoffs and the NBA experience will help develop more than beating up Euroleaguers. We also feel locking up a very young stretch four in Wood was a win in our opinion. He won't get meaningful minutes, but ideally puts on some weight and takes Frye's spot in a year or two.

Because, we are not too excited with a 31 year old wasting a roster spot when he will only play the last two minutes of complete blowouts; with Thompson, Frye, Kostas at center Kaun is a luxury that I don't care about;

edit?
Since the tax payer ex is 3.47 million, we in Cleveland believe we can split it into three minimum contracts under CBA rules. We thought about hitting up some twitter accounts and asking but GM's are usually frowned upon for doing such things. Under that assumption we hope to fill the back of our roster with some raw youth.. The pitch? You get paid to play basketball in the NBA instead of China? You might get a ring? You get to meet Lebron?

The Cavs offer Diamond Stone a three year deal with the last two years ung

The Cavs offer Derrick Jones a three year deal with the last two years ung.

Yes, normally we'd have waited through summer league to target undrafted kids but we love the raw talent and size of these two.. And there's really not a summer league in this game.

Lebron approves and understands James Jones likely won't be his teammate

Sorry for the long wait. Been a busy day in a half working these mid-shifts given the upcoming holiday. I haven't heard back on a pending deal yet. It will be tomorrow afternoon when I can give you my decision.

Amnesty provision you cannot but stretch? I dunno. I feel like instead of researching it I give you Harrell and you give me a distant 2nd rounder and I go back to ignoring this thread?

That works, so Knight and a 2018 second for Harrell and Ariza?

Yeah, wrap it up.

I like my offseason better than the real Houston one so far.

--Deng got his 17m he got in rl, but only 2 years.
-- Joe Johnson on a bargian 1year 8m
-- Matched the rfas (Jones not getting a q/o was weird)
-- Dumped Brewer (with Dekker sadly)

Ariza is a loss, but it screams Morey to sign someone else as wing depth and flip him.

I know originally, I had the 5 days going Wednesday to Sunday, but because I did Day 3 late and Monday is a holiday, I'm going to stretch it out a bit.

Day 4 will end tomorrow, Sunday 07/03/2016 at 11:00 PM ET
Day 5 will end Tuesday, 07/05/2016 at 11:00 PM ET
Final Roster Submissions (Roster cuts to get to final 12-15 man roster) is due on Wednesday 07/06/2016

Since mamba4goat can't finish out as Knicks GM,but made his big signings already, I will go in after all signings and fill out the Knicks roster with minimum free agents left after Day 5 to fill out the roster. IF any one else needs to step out due to the schedule change (or just lost overall interest due to real life free agency starting), both mention it in the thread AND PM me, I will help to fill out any rosters for GM's that need to/want to step out.

With size being a low point on our team, we wish to bring back someone we are quite familiar with in Jordan Hill. Offering him a 20M contract with year 2 as a player option, flat rate of 10M per.

Don't know if still available but...
Clippers offer both Jordan Hill and Arron Afflalo 2/20 (1st year $8 million + 2nd year player option)
Clippers would aquire James Johnson for their bi-annual exception

Updated depth chart:
Paul / Rivers / Prigioni
Reddick / Crawford
Green /
Griffin / West / Mbah a Moute
Jordan / Dawson
