James Singleton - $900k
Jarron Collins - $900k
Josh Powell - $900k

The deal works.

Why for Portland? With Pierce and Turkoglu on the books, Martell Webster was surplus to requirements and playing out of position. Lee is a talented young SG who has range to his game and is also good friends with Dwight, whom he played greatly alongside in his first year. It balances the roster out nicely.

Indiana and Golden State have agreed to a deal.

Golden State Sends/Indiana Receives
Corey Maggette $9,600,000 20p 5r 3a

Indiana Sends/Golden State Receives
DeShawn Stevenson $4,151,786 2p 1r 1a
Solomon Jones $1,500,000 4p 2r 1a
Al Thornton $2,814,196 11p 4r 1a

$8,400,000 x 1.25 = $10,500,000

This is all about consolidating talent. I feel Maggette will be worth at least two years of his contract, and then it expires. He is the perfect 6th man for us.

The Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed to a trade proposal:

Hawks Sends:
Jeff Teague $1,476,840
Kenny Hensbrouk $762,195
Atlanta 2012 first
Atlanta 2013 first

Atlanta gets:
Rodney Stuckey $2,767,126

Cleveland Sends:
Rodney Stuckey $2,767,126

Cleveland gets:
Jeff Teague $1,476,840
Kenny Hensbrouk $762,195
Atlanta 2012 first
Atlanta 2013 first

Math Works.

Atlanta accept. We finally get the slashing SG that can slash to the rim, play physical and provide good perimeter D. Teague was an intriguing prospect, but we feel that we'll be better off with Stuckey starting for us at the 2 guard spot.

Courtney Lee $1,352,640 - to NJ
Daniel Gibson $4,015,334 - to NJ
Josh Powell $900,000 - to OKC

Total Outgoing = $7,167,974 (*1.25+$100K = $9,059,967) = the deal works

New Jersey Sends:

Ray Allen $9,000,000 - to Portland

OKC Sends:

Nothing (deal works as Powell''s incoming is a minimum)

Why for Portland? We're going all out for win now. Although I really like Lee and Gibson, I feel at this point, Ray Allen takes the team to the next level. He's a fantastic shooter and should really benefit from Dwight Howard's presence inside.

OKC accepts there part of the deal. We essentially traded rodney carney for a 2013 ATL 2nd and Josh Powell, pretty good since the dude wont even be in the league next year.

Accepted. Unable to land another all-star we carry our words sending RayRay to a contender before the trading deadline. Reunion with former teammate, Paul Pierce is more than a bonus. We are happy to welcome Courtney Lee lee back.

My bad. Copy and paste error. I have fixed the deal.

Since the Cavs GM is temporarily suspended, he will has asked me to post his acceptance:

""Cleveland wants to unload most of its core players and stock pile draft picks for the future. We feel like it is better to be a crap team for 3-4 years but then great team 5-10 years from now over being a decent team for ten years. Teague also may develop into a decent player."

He will send out an email to lukearts as well.

LAC and SAC have a prett-ayyyy prett-ayyyy big trade to announce.

LAC outgoing:
Stephen Jackson - $8,453,250
Russell Westbrook - $4,017,720
3 Million Cash

SAC outgoing:
Darren Collison - $1,266,120
Rudy Gay - $13,750,000

We were reluctant to part ways with Westbrook, but are happy bring in two young stars in Gay and Collison. We turn a stop gap at SF in Jackson into a talented high flyer in Gay. The Pippen to our Jordon so to speak :D. Collison did a pretty damn good Paul impersonation last season, and we think he'll explode next season now that he is starting and surrounded by all of this offensive fire power. We get younger, and don't sacrifice wins to do it in our estimation.

Some games that Collison has shined in:

3/1 vs. Spurs
10 points, 15 assists, 5 rebounds.

3/3 vs. Grizzlies
17 points, 14 assists, 5 steals.

3/5 vs. Spurs
32 points, 2 assists, 2 rebounds.

3/8 vs. Warriors
16 points, 20 assists, 3 steals.

Sac accepts, we felt that Westbrook in any deal was just too good to pass up. Its fair value, even though Jackson doesn't fit with the team we are building, taking him on was worth it.

Indiana has completed what will likely be their final deal of this game. They have agreed to a very minor trade with the Charlotte Bobcats that is all about position and playing time.

Charlotte Sends/Indiana Receives
James Johnson $1,763,600 4p 2r 1a
Kris Humphries $3,200,000 7p 6r 1a

Indiana Sends/Charlotte Recieves
Randy Foye 10p 2r 3a $4,000,000
Josh McRoberts 4p 3r 1a $885,000
2011 IND 2nd

I signed Jordan Farmar and traded for Corey Maggette, so I didn't really have room on my roster for Foye. I feel that the youth I get in this trade will be beneficial to my team, and I look forward to seeing both players in a Pacers uniform.

You can find Foye's contract in the free agency thread. It was $4,000,000 a year but not sure if it was 3 or 4 years.

CHA and NJ has a trade to annouce.

Gerald Henderson...... $2.1 million
Alexis Ajinca...... $1.5 million
Total................. 3.6 million

for

Daniel Gibson..........4.0 million

3.6 x 1.25 + 0.1k = 4.6 > 4.0. Trade works.

Gibson requested to join a contender. We are devoted in developing Augustin and Bledsoe as our future PG rotation so his request is more than aligned with our direction. We like the prospects in Henderson and Ajinca as return for Bobbie.

Yi Jianlian

Sacramento Trades:

Hakim Warrick

Houston accepts; we need a 3rd string point guard and an atheletic big never hurt anyone.

The OKC Thunder, Dallas Mavericks and Orlando Magic have agreed to a BLOCKBUSTER!!

Dallas Mavericks outgoing:

Steve Nash..........$10,310,938
Andre Iguodala.....$12,345,250
Grant Hill..............$3,240,000

Total: $25,896,188

Dallas Mavericks incomming:

Dirk Nowitzki----------$21,513,524
Dorell Wright------------$2,900,000

Total: $24,413,524 (Less then Outgoing)

Orlando Magic outgoing:

Dirk Nowitzki---------$21,513,524
Dorell Wright-----------$2,900,000

Total: $24,413,524

Orlando Magic incomming:

Gerald Wallace.....$9,500,000
Steve Nash..........$10,310,938
Grant Hill..............$3,240,000
Josh Powell...........$900,000

Total: $23,950,938 (Less Incomming)

OKC Thunder outgoing:

Gerald Wallace.....$9,500,000
Josh Powell...........$900,000

Total: $10,400,000 x 1.25 + 100,000 = $13,100,000 max incomming

OKC Thunder incomming:

Andre Iguodala.....$12,345,250

Total: $12,345,250

Deal Works!

WHY for OKC?
This deal most likely completes our team. Gerald Wallce might be better then Andre Iguodala, slighty. BUT we start Iggy at the 2 and KD goes back to his more natural position at SF. This is a much better fit for the team overall. Our guards (Iggy and TP) will be able to shut the other teams guards down, and since now-a-days guards do more scoring then bigs we feel this is an advantage for us. We love the Iggy / KD combo on the wings, the might be the perfect fit. Losing Powell does actually suck to us, since in RL ima Lakers fan, and we love this kids work ethic. Anyways good dealing guys and good luck. TP / Iggy / KD / Gasol / Kaman with Jamison as my super 6th man. Try and Stop me NOW!

Orlando accepts.

Was really hesitant trading Dirk, really became patient...VERY patient and slow..had double thoughts (jus ask jcl and bness) but eventually warmed up to the idea. We get 2 studs in GForce and Nash PLUS a great role player in Grant Hill. Speaking of him, We would also like to welcome GHill back as we wanted to take care of him too and give him one final chance to enjoy in Orlando. Harris will play 2 for the moment but I got a deal soon, so it shouldn't be a problem. This also allows us to slide Shard back @ the PF and get a beast in Gerald Wallace @ the SF spot.

Finally, Nash is STILL a top 2 PG no matter what you haters message me. He's good for 2 more years IMO.
