Milwaukee sends: Danillo Gallinari($4,190,182) + Beno Udrih($6,925,400) = $11,115,582

Houston accepts. I might be overpaying for Gallo a little bit here...but we really like his game and there is only a few young sfs out there and we get one of the best.

Bucks accept. We absolutely hate seeing Danilo go, but we couldn't pass up this value. We are extremely high on Alec Burks, and feel like he can really grow well next to Jennings. Thad Young is a great player in his own right and swapping Beno for Teague as our backup PG made this deal even more attractive to us. Great dealin', moss.

Trade #179 - Phoenix & Detroit

Phoenix Sends
Kirk Hinrich - $8,100,000
2012 CLE 1st (top 8 protected)

Detroit Sends
Ben Gordon - $11,600,000
2012 DET 1st

*PHX has $6.3m in additional cap space in order to absorb Gordon's larger contract.

Why for Phoenix?
We like Gordon and think that he can thrive next to Dragic in an up-tempo system. People may forget this but, as a serious scoring option, Gordon was a 20+ppg player. We are thrilled to have Ben join our young team and are excited to add yet one more piece to our scrappy team.

#180 Houston and New Jersey have a trade:

Houston sends: Michael Beasley($6,262,347) + Boris Diaw($9,000,000) + Darko Milicic($4,776,500) + Beno Udrih($6,925,400) + Nikola Pekovic($4,595,000) = $31,559,247

New Jersey sends: Carlos Boozer($13,500,000) + Ramon Sessions($4,257,973) + Trevor Ariza($6,790,640) + Chris Singleton($1,485,000) + Anthony Randolph($2,911,231) = $28,944,844 x 1.25 = $36,181,055

Houston will also send $3m in cash considerations.

Houston accepts. With Gallo on board we felt Beasley became a little more expendable. Ariza can play both the 2 and the 3 with good D and a solid stroke from 3, Sessions is a solid backup PG, AR is one of my favorite players who can really score off the bench and Singleton is a good prospect for our young team.

Detroit accepts. We hated having to move down in the draft, but this deal frees up quite a bit of longterm salary and allows us to later use our amnesty on someone else to free up more space.

The Nets accept this deal as it provides much greater future cap flexibility which is critical in the new CBA. While we sent one of the best PF to Houston in Carlos Boozer, once we acquired Tyler Hanbrough this was necessary to free up playing time as Ty is expected to become our future starter. In the meantime, Boris Diaw - who is finally realizing his potential as one of the most gifted PF in the Association will start. He has been a great scorer, rebounder and facilitation this year and can defend all 3 big positions. We really like his game. Michalel Beasley has shown added maturity and bringss great scoring depth from our bench. Any one fo out PG will push for a starting postion and Udrih and Sessions can play together at times. Petrovik allows Tyrus Thomas to return to his natural PF slot. Great dealing with Houston -tough fitting all the pieces together, btu great cooperation and a win win deal in the end.

#182 PORTLAND AND TORONTO

Portland sends:
$5,412,500 - Glen Davis
Portland's 2015 1st (Unprotected)

Toronto sends:
$4,710,000 - Ronnie Brewer
$2,001,167 - D.J. White

Portland accepts.
I have a lot of offense on my team; needed to add some defense.
Kinda of felt like an overpay, but I feel it was well-needed.

#183: PHI and SAS have a trade to announce:

To Philadelphia:
Nene Hilario (12,950,000)
Shawn Marion (8,022,449)
2014 POR 2nd

Total: 20,972,449

To San Antonio:
Zach Randolph ($15,200,000)
Quentin Richardson (2,446,200)

Total: 17,646,200 * 1.25 + 100,00 = 22,157,750

Deal works

SA accepts. I have been trying to get an elite PF since I got Rondo, which was nearly the beginning of the game. Now I get to pair him with Wall and Noah, who I think make a great trio. I'm extremely pleased with Wall/Lee/Johnson/Randolph/Noah as a starting unit. Plus QRich has always been one of my favorite role players.

Edit - I also like that I can move Manu to my bench and add a bit of defender with Marion.

#184 PORTLAND AND SAN ANTONIO

Portland sends:
$9,256,700 - Stephen Jackson
$0,473,604 - Charles Jenkins

$9,730,304 - Total

San Antonio sends:
$4,006,080 - Wesley Johnson
$2,500,000 - Jason Smith
$2,446,200 - Quentin Richardson

$8,952,280 - Total

Portland accepts.
We looked all over to deal Jax for some depth, although Smith and Richardson have longer contracts, it might be worth it. Smith is a nice size to have down-low and Richardson can still shoot the 3. Jax is still a good player, but his role would be limited on this current team.

Trade 184

NEW JERSEY AND NEW ORLEANS ANNOUNCE DEAL

Relying on the fear tactic of Gerald Wallace opting out, the Hornets reduced the once proud Nets to a trembling mass of charity. While delighted to bring in an elite SF - Luol Deng - signed to a longer term contract and journeyman - defender Renaldo Balkman. In exchange the Nets send Gerald Wallace, Klay Thompson and the Portland and Los Angeles Clippers (lotto protected) 1st round picks in 2012.

The Nets send out 11,626,520 while taking on 14,000,000 which works under the CBA.

The Nets are excited to get Deng young talent to add to a solid core of youth and experience and expect this move will help them go deep into the playoffs. However, the loss of Klay Thompson, Wallace and the picks were painful. However, its always fun to work with the King. Mark it up as a learning experience. Thanks

We add an elite defender, rebounder (for his position) and off-ball offensive player while adding assets to net a great big man. Happy to accept and begin to build around Rose..

The Cavs and Hornets have agreed upon a deal.

The Cavs send Luis Scola ($8,591,793) in exchange for Klay Thompson ($2,126,520), POR 2012 1st, and LAC 2012 1st (lotto protected).

Deal Works as BI has enough capspace to absorb Scola.

Cavs accept. It's fun to trade.

Scola is a quality PF that is on a reasonable contract. We are a bruising C, and a sharp shooting SG away from contention in our estimation.

#186 Houston and Golden State have a trade:

Houston sends: Carlos Boozer($13,500,000) + Jodie Meeks($884,293) = $14,384,293 = $17,980,366

Golden State sends: Antawn Jamison($15,076,715) + Gordon Hayward($2,532,960) = $17,609,675

Houston accepts. Boozers a nice player but we are looking to the future. Hayward is a really nice prospect who can play the 2 and 3 and shows a great shooting stroke along with solid playmaking skills. He will be a great fit for our team.

This is deal 187, the next trade is 188

SA accepts. Wes and Jackson have similar value, but Wes is an unknown. Jackson is a proven player who will play with intensity on both ends of the floor. He also gives my team a 30 PT game every 4-5 games or so, which should help on the nights where Wall and Randolph can't get going. Also drop 2 mediocre contracts.

Barea is a good 6th man and can play beside Rose or back him up.
