The Pacers and the Jazz have agreed to a deal:

Jazz receives:
Tyler Hansborough (2,138,040)
George Hill (1,390,906)
Indiana's 2012 1st rounder (top 5 protected)
= 3,528.946

Pacers receives:
Kirk Hinrich (8,100,000)
Paul Millsap (8,103,435)
=16,203,435

Utah accepts. We get 2 really promising young players still on their rookie contracts and another draft pick that could perhaps be solid. We also gained some more cap space which might help us next year. Good dealings Indy.

The Clippers and Pacers have agreed upon a deal.

The Clippers Receive:
PG Kirk Hinrich ($8,100,000)

The Pacers Receive:
PG Eric Bledsoe ($1,596,360)
SG Randy Foye ($4,250,000)
PF Craig Smith ($3,000,000)
Total Salary: $8,846,360

$8,100,000 x 1.25 +.1 = $10,225,000

Clippers accept.

We get the starting point guard that we've been looking for. We've long been a fan of Kirk Hinrich's game, and we believe he will be an excellent fit next to Thabo Sefolosha and Danny Granger on the wing. We moved a little bit of cap flexibility and a young guy we liked, but didn't love to get an upgrade at point.

The Clippers, Raptors, and Jazz have agreed to a three team deal.

Clippers Receive:
SG Raja Bell ($3,240,000)
C Ben Wallace ($2,246,400)
2012 2nd Round Pick (from Toronto)
2013 2nd Round Pick (from Utah)
2014 2nd Round Pick (from Toronto)

Jazz Receive:
Nothing

Raptors Receive:
PG Mo Williams ($8,500,000)

Raptors are under the cap, so this creates a TPE for $3,013,600 for the Clippers as well.

The Clippers weren't thrilled with the value here, but the fit is what we were aiming for here. Raja Bell fits in well with Thabo Sefolosha in our SG rotation, and Ben Wallace gives us the flexibility to deal Chris Kaman. His veteran presence will help out Chris Kaman as well.

Minnesota trades Ricky Rubio, Anthony Randolph to UTA for Tyler Hansbrough, George Hill

MIN Outgoing/UTA Incoming: $6,285,871 (UTA has the capspace)
UTA Outgoing/MIN Incoming: $3,678,533

We did not plan to trade Rubio in this game. However, we also did not expect to acquire Wade. Rubio and Wade don't fit the greatest, so we needed to trade Rubio for someone who did. George Hill will provide solid defense and a reliable 3-point stroke that allows him to play off of Wade. While we may have lost some potential at the point, we gain an upgrade at PF. Psycho T will bring Target Center some of what was lost with the trade of Kevin Love.

Overall we are sacrificing some potential to hopefully build a contending team around Dwyane Wade

Chicago and Washington have agreed to a sign and trade with Nick Young
To Chicago:
NIck Young($8,000,000)
Jan Vesley($3.160,800)
2012 2nd Round Pick
2013 1st Round Pick
Total: $11,160,800

To Washington:
Luol Deng($12,325,000)
Taj Gibson($1,195,690)
Total: $13,520,690

Washington has the cap space to absorb the difference.

This is a great trade for the Bulls. I get a great shooting guard in Young and Vesley replaces the older and more expensive Deng, allowing Deng to start. Not only that, I obtain some valuable picks, adding to my already big collection.

Rip Hamilton - 12 500 000

total = 22 280 992

Pistons trade/Cavs receive:

Brandon Roy - 15 032 144
Will Bynum - 3 250 000
Luke Babbitt - 1 768 800
DET 2012 2nd(unprotected)
DET 2014 1st(unprotected)

total = 20 050 944
--> Although we accept Roy's monster contract, we get a competent backup PG in Will Bynum, and 3 young guys who we really like (Babbitt+2 picks). rationale behind accepting Roy's contract is its covered by insurance if Roy is injured(so D. Gilbert won't pay much) and we don't need cap space, so as long as we are below the luxury tax line(which we are), we're fine taking on Roy's contract. Plus, by the time Roy's contract expires, Irving - Valanciunas - Thompson will be due for an extension so its a perfect situation. (we have a huge expiring contract when we won't have any cap space).. Nice dealing..

We add a franchise center in Bogut. He is the 2nd best center in the league at a position that is hard to fill. This moevs Oden to bench giving us a Bogut/Oden, Boozer/Humphries, Williams/Ariza frontcourt. This trade balances out the roster and gives us flexibility moving forward. Nice dealing!

Hornets accept. It was VERY sad to say good-bye to the face of our franchise and community of New Orleans, in some respects, for the last seven years or so. But we feel we did what we needed to do for the future success of this organization in New Orleans. We thank CP3 for everything he has done for us--organization and city alike and we wish him well for the rest of his career and though we weren't able to fully help him achieve his goal of being an NBA champion in New Orleans, we do wish, from the bottom of out hearts that he can someday be known as an NBA champion and we look forward to the day that #3 is hanging high up in our rafters.

Now to the stud we're bringing in. Wall is MAGNIFICENT. He was just the guy we felt we needed to bring in to replace CP3. We believe his potential is out of this realm. We're talking best PG and one of the top 3 players in the NBA in the future. We think he'll be the best PG of this generation, outclassing CP3, D-Will and Rose.

Utah accepts. With Anthony Randolph scheduled to be a RFA next year we decide to move Randolph now rather then letting him walk and get nothing in return next season. Beaubois is a pretty solid and intriguing prospect and we think could develop into a very solid player off our bench.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets have agreed to a mini-blockbuster.

The Clippers Receive:
C Timofey Mozgov ($3,343,896)
Rights to SF Jordan Hamilton

The Nuggets Receive:
C Chris Kaman ($12,200,000)
C Ben Wallace ($2,246,400)

The Nuggets are far enough under the cap to swallow the difference. This creates a TPE worth $14,446,400.

Clippers accept.

Like the Mo Williams deal, this more about ideal fits moreso than anything. We get a replacement center for a fourth of the price. And when you compare their per 36 minutes numbers, there really isn't a huge difference (Kaman - 17/10/2 vs. Mozgov - 11/8/1). I get a slightly worse rebounder, but who had a higher true shooting percentage and eFG%. You could make a legitimate argument I got an improvement. We also manage to acquire Jordan Hamilton in this deal as well. We believe he'll help us with three point shooting, and we believe he could turn into someone like Stephen Jackson without the baggage. But the real kicker is the savings the Clippers receive. The Clippers will NEVER have a 100 million payroll with Donald Sterling around.

P.S. If for some reason rocdogg won't allow Hamilton be dealt as rights, this deal works financially with him included with his contract. Only the TPE would be $13,524,000. Should work the other way though since Hamilton hasn't been dealt yet.

Miami does this because for some reason I always need to trade for Morrow and since I have zero future picks avaialbe, I wanted one. Blake will want in and start at PG for us allowing LBJ to move back to SF. Since our FAs are not interested in staying in South Beach, we decided to dbring in our PG

Booker is an interesting project PF, that will fit a need at the moment

Why for Philly? We give a lot here for Ibaka, but he's the best player in the deal + on a very cheap deal. We lose the useless Nocioni for a spot up shooter with exp contract in Brewer + our new starting C with a big sexy exp in Camby. Losing Speights does not hurt, because he couldn't crack the rotation here. The picks will probably be in the 20 area, because we are a playoff team. Losing Thad hurts, but we felt like it is better to build around a real PF and not a tweener.

guys Thad is a BYC player so deal does not work, needs to be reworked slightly
Philly salary with Thad's BYC number 14,219,859 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 17,874,823

so small salary added from Philly side should get it to work

Thx. Really? Because rocdogg agreed. I would include a Brackins ($1,404,960) for future 2nd swap, and hopefully CHI GM has no problem with that. I think the trade works then.

We do this to shed salary, at 73 million the same as the current San Antonio team but our chances in the playoffs are less because of the youth movement.
