So how does this bidding process work? Do teams automatically get the player they bid on (vet min) or has another team a chance to increase the money.

If you have minimum players on guaranteed contracts and would like to waive them but not have there contracts go against your cap, I have many roster spots open and am willing to take them on.

Need to trade Taj Gibson by tonight. I need the cap. Again looking to package Gibson, McLemore or Beal, and 2014 TOR 1st for a good, young PG and some depth. I'm willing to include other smaller pieces too. Please just send offers quick! wizards2012realgm@gmail.com

I believe max contracts can't be traded at all.

Guys like Harris, West, Gortat, TT, Vucevic, John Jenkins and Le'Bryan Nash can all be had. Looking for a 2nd guy next to Kobe.

Dallas:

Cody Zeller / Tyler Zeller / Nick Collison / Steven Adams (unsigned)
James McAdoo / Byron Mullens / Channing Frye
Dorell Wright / Jeffery Taylor
Chase Budinger / Ramon Sessions / Shannon Brown
Raymond Felton / DJ Augustin / Myck Kabongo

Still have about $10M in cap space. No one's untouchable.

Interesting Observation:

GM's signing players to ludacris contracts and then getting offended when you turn down said player in a trade proposal even though in there proposal they state he may be overpaid now but over the life of the contract he will definately earn it.

Rule of thumb: Do not give a role player a near max deal and then immediately try to trade him.

Teams that only have the MIN. to spend I have an interesting proposal for you.

If there is a player you would like left in free agency I am willing to use my cap space MLE (2.5mil) to get him and then trade him to you, in return i would want all of the below

1. $3mil
2. 2 first round draft picks (one being unprotected for 2014)
3. any min player

I'm pretty sure we eliminated the "auctioning of players" and "jumping through hoops" type of deals. I'm pretty sure this is a " jumping through hoops" type of deal.

Also, I'm not gonna lie, this whole waiting 72 hours stuff is kinda killing the game.

I like the "if another team signs a max player, they can't be traded"

I'm not complaining, because I knew the rules when I signed up, just saying fr next game. It kinda sucks.

I think we need a separate discussion on how FA is handled in the future. the 72 hours rule is fine, but FA needs to take less time... I submitted my first bids on FA's 8 days ago... and I'm still 23 hours away from knowing if I'm going to be filling my roster... or taking another 24 hours...

Has anyone played any other games of a similar kind (I know BI, Willy & Kees have played another type of game) to confirm how FA runs? Any learnings from that?
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.
