It would be nice to hear more from the mods who seem to want to run the next game about it. Sign-ups traditonally take close to a week so that's already a fair bit of downtime considering the end of this has kinda dragged on too. I'd really like to get the new game rolling.

This Mod does not want to run it.

Still need more people to sign up as a judge or contestant if we are going to do the October Trade Tournament

I think this game should be scrapped and let us all focus on the next GMAT.

I will scrap it if it isn't filled up in the next 1-2 days. I jut posted it on the T&T board so let's see if it receives some more interest now.

There is absolutely nothing preventing both from happening. I promise you his trade tournament is not stealing away a single player from GMAT.

I'd guess when someone steps up to start it? It's my understanding that we have one or two guys willing to help run it, but that they are still looking for someone to take the lead.

Games NEVER run smoothly when they are rushed.

It needs to be done right, or not done at all.

Patience fellas, patience.

I probably have the worst patience of anyone on this board lol. In my opinion I think we should go ahead and get the sign up sheet and figure everything out after that since it seems like it's going to obviously take a while to get the ball rolling. Just my opinion though, I'll leave it up to the future commisioner.

This. It doesn't hurt to put up a sign-up sheet. It can only help.

Your wish is my command.

I don't have a ton of free time and will probably just get busier during the next few months. I can't run a game by myself for sure. But I can do some of the ground-work and get it going. People like HFW and NESS almost always step up and run some aspects and I haven't seen him around lately but Timmay talked before about running one with me. So I'm sure we'll have people step up when they're needed and I'm fine with taking the lead.
