Why?
Huntin picks. Win-win again. Good dealing scott!!

ATL confirms - We Like Marquette guys who bring a lot of hustle and great glue guys. Crowder fits out scheme better than Bazemore. we have enough youth and will have additional consideration with BKN in future negotiations.

Trade 133

Grizzlies out/Warriors in:
Dante Exum $3,777,720 $3,940,320(TO) $4,992,385(TO)

Grizzlies in/Warriors out:
Elfrid Payton $2,505,720 $2,613,600 (TO) $3,332,340 (TO)
Rudy Gobert $1,175,880 $2,121,288(TO) $3,145,870(TO)
Total 3,681,600

money obviously works

Grizzlies agree. We think Payton has the chance to be just as good as Exum with less downside plus we add a very intriguing young big. Good dealing dame.

Hornets accept. A couple savvy veteran bigs for depth for free? Yes please. Helps keep Pau and Bosh's minutes down in the RS. Thanks Dan.

Detroit confirms - we feel Brandon Jennings is a much better fit with out core and will vie to start - Zaza was not going to get any time and this allow us to get minute to Myles Turner at Center and PF. Really liked this deal - nice trading Dan - You're not always easy to get to, but we do get some deals done once were in the same time zone! Good Luck.

Warriors accept. We like Payton, he's a vicious defender and explosive player who can clear pass and rebound the ball better than most pg. Gobert has a lot of promise but he is completely redundant with Drummond/Adams on board. I may be a fool, but I just love Dante. He is crazy fast and can shoot already plus he's got the height and instincts to rebound and distribute very well. He really reminds me of WB and/or Drose some, except he's a better shooter already, plus the kid is only 18 freaking years old. I'm convinced he'll be a star some-day so I gladly give two quality prospects for him, need to trim down the roster anyway.

Pistons get:
Jrue Holiday $10,595,507
Glen Rice Jr $2,100,000
Brandon Bass $4,000,000
Total = 16,695,507

Heat get:
Kemba Walker $17,000,000
Clint Capela $1,242,720
Total = 18,000,000

Money easily works.

Heat accept. Jrue is a better overall player now but My defensive line-up needed shooting/scoring. Plus Kemba has a little more upside IMO. Thx Scott.

DET accepts - we think Jrue is a much better defensive player and has been a better shooter and distributor - though the injury is a concern. Cappella has potential, as does Glen Rice Jr - and Bass has been very productive throughout his career - so it was worth the move. Nice dealing - DNoah! Good Luck.

Trade 137

Atlanta and Golden State Agree to Trade

ATL sends Jeff Teague $8,000,000, Marcus Morris $5,000,000, Adreian Payne $1,938,840 & LAL 16 1st; to
GSW for Reggie Jackson $10,600,000 & Dante Exum $3,777,720

Atlanta gambles on the Upside of 2 highly touted young Combo Guards and reduces there payroll to try to get greater long term chances to be a contender in the East. Jeff Teague is a very good PG, but will not show significant growth from here and the Hawks don't want to be a 6th to 8th seed periodically and felt this might give us a chance to become a tup seed in the East. Great Dealing DameCurry - Good Luck

Warriors accept. Hard to lose exum an hour after he came to town. I also like Jackson, like the progression he's shown this year in his few games as "the guy." But I've been planning to move more towards competing, getting into the playoffs and this is part 1, another move is following immediately after. Teague has looked great this season, averaging 18/9 and he's a seasoned (36 playoff games already) pg that's still 26. Perfect for a young but competing team. I know Marcus isn't seen as that valuable but he's a plus defender who can stretch the floor, very valuable next to drummond/adams. Payne and the pick will be flipped in our other trade. Great dealing scott.

138

Warriors In / Suns Out

Gordon Hayward (15.5m)
Norris Cole (2.5m)
Total 18m

Suns In / Warriors Out

Alec Burks (5m)
Kelly Olynyk (2.1m)
Harrison Barnes (3.9m)
Adreian Paynes (1.9m)
16 WAS 1st; 16 DET 1st
Total 12.9m
After scott's trade I still have well over 10m in space so easily legal.

Warriors Accept. I'm overpaying here but I want a real wing and I get one. He might be overpaid now but when the cap shoots up to 95m next year it'll be a bargain. HIs ppg/rbg/apg and fg % have all continued to rise this year over last so far and he really seems to be developing into a wing who can just do everything, I honestly love his game. Cole is needed with exum out of town as a backup pg and his defensive mentality is perfect to fill in for Teague. Giving up two firsts and four valuable young players hurts but I get by far the best player in the deal and an upgrade I badly need. couldn't pass it up. Nice dealing HFW.

We accept. We were a treadmill team with a payroll of 90+ million and that was not going to happen. Great working with you DC on this one.

Will update the roster once I am done watching, one of the beat movies on planet Earth, Shawshank Redemption. :-)

Kings accept.

After looking at the landscape, we decided instead of going to war with Kobe George Wes Johnson Gay Hibbert which was a very long and athletic team that'd cause guys fits BUT in all likelihood only a 1yr window so we decided to move George and bring in the future of the League in Exum and Embiid, superstar potential at the PG and C spot and the way Exum has made Gobert look great catching alleyoops, I can only imagine what he and Embiid will look like. Plus we get the Kansas connection w/ T Rob and Ben McLemore.

Good dealing Blazer50!

The Suns trade:
Eric Bledsoe ($13,500,000)
Chase Budinger ($5,000,000)

Total $18,500,000.

The Pacers trade:
Dennis Schroeder ($1,763,400)
Emmanuel Mudaiy ($4,753,000)
Aaron Harrison ($950,200)
CJ Miles ($4,394,225)

Total $11,860,825.

The Pacers have about 33 million in cap space.

The Suns are in rebuild mode and this and the last two trades get me there. This also creates a $6,639,175 TPE.
