Summer GMAT: Eastern Playoffs - 2nd Round

Post#1 » by Ralnor » Wed Jul 15, 2015 10:21 am

Best out of 7. First teams to 4 wins will advance to the second round.

(1) TOR vs (6) CHI
(2) MIA vs (4) BOS

Raptors in 6. Both teams' starting lineup is at the same calibre but Raptors have a bench.
Heat in 5. Much better talent over Celtics.

Toronto in 6.
Heat in 4.

Shame on all of you for voting the Celtics over the Bucks. Unbelievable.

I do not feel fair voting for the Boston/Miami matchup, as I am up 3-0 in the other series. I do not want to decide who I may or may not potentially play.

Write up -

I wish Chicago built some kind of bench, so this would be a good series. I like what was done in Chicago either way.

Marc Gasol will limit Dwight and Pau Gasol will play well against Ryno on offense. But on Defense Ryno/Thad will murder Pau. Conley will eat Lawson up, and Harden will be held somewhat in check with Butler on him. The difference in this series is Iggy and my bench. Clarkson, Thad and Iggy win the series. Good series, but we prevail in 5, pretty easily.

Chicago maxes out the starting 5's minutes, all who either are used to it from coach thibodeau previously or from Joerger currently lololol. Good luck TOR!

Raptors in 6

-Bulls put up a good fight, but their lack of a superstar hurts them down the stretch.

Heat in 7

-I see PG coming back and having a monster year which would allow them to get this far. Despite the age of Wade and Bosh, their championship experience and home court advantage helps win this close series.

Wow, woke up and saw it was already round 2. Da hell?

I guess I'll do kind of a mini write-up. My squad is focused on all win-now talent. I have a solid defensive rotation in both my frontcourt and back court. Tony Allen, Matt Barnes, and David West, all off the bench? Lock-down defense, and with Joerger coaching, we should have theoretically one of the best defenses in the league.

Should be boston. I have irrational love for that roster.
