Miami Receives:
Tobias Harris - $8,000,000
Spencer Hawes - $6,000,000
Courtney Lee - $5,675,000
Carlos Delfino - $2,500,000
---
TOTAL: $22,175,000

Milwaukee Receives:
Luol Deng - $13,500,000
Patrick Beverly - $3,500,000
Kevin Seraphin - $1,000,000
Andrew Harrison - $1,000,000
2019 Miami 2nd
3M Cash
---
TOTAL: $19,000,000

Milwaukee is over the tax before this trade(but under after), so I guess we use 125%, right?

$19,000,000 * 125% = $23,750,000, and $22,175,000 falls within that, so the trade is valid.

We do this trade to basically turn a troublesome contract in Luol Deng - big money for an older player who didn't fit with the younger direction we're going in - into a very promising young player in Tobias Harris, gain a couple of expiring deals in Lee and Delfino that could be used to facilitate future moves, and acquire some big man in depth in Hawes. We're not overly thrilled about Hawes's contract, but it certainly won't be the problem than Deng's was.

We believe Deng is still a very good player, but there are just too many players that can give the same production for much less money, so the market for him was tough. We think he fits well with his new team in Milwaukee, though, and that he'll be able to help them contend this year.

The main thing is Tobias though, who we view as a long-term piece here, and much too good to be coming off the bench, which is what he was doing in Milwaukee. At only 23, and as good as he is, we feel he is far and away the best piece we could've hoped to get for Luol.

Good dealing, Hopping4Wiggins!

We made this trade to a) get under the tax line for the moment, b) add Beverly to this team and the scrapping defense he brings, c) move CJ to the 2 spot, and d) get out of Hawes deal.

Okay MINOR NOTE HERE.

NYK (Chuck) traded the "2016 MIA Second" to Las Vegas Jokers (RR9), then the pick got traded it to me (OKC).

All seemed okay, until OldSchoolNoBull realized he never traded that pick that I own. HE DID THE RESEARCH. I FOUND THE SOLUTION.

I realized that this must have been a typo and it was the MIA 2015 Second not the MIA 2016 Second.

That pick was actually Jordan Mickey. I will just claim him. He is not on the Knicks roster - hence I think this is the mistake.

As long as that is okay with Roc and Chuck - It makes everything 100 times easier.

No harm, no foul by anyone here, just a simple typo from someone at some point.

Thanks.

The Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Raiden agree to a deal.

Chi-Town out / OKC in:

Danny Green - $10,000,000 | | | $10,000,000 | | |$10,000,000 | | |$10,000,000
2017 Dallas Mavericks First
2017 Mexican City Cyborgs First
2018 Chicago Bulls Second
2019 Chicago Bulls Second

Total: $10,000,000

Chicago is at 13 players before the deal.
13 - 1 (Green) + 3 = 15 players after the deal.

----------------------------------------------

RAIDEN out / Bulls in:

Tim Duncan - $5,747,500 | | | $5,995,000
Kevin Garnett - $2,300,000 | | | $2,300,000
Paul Pierce - $2,500,000 | | | $1,500,000 | | | $500,000

Total: $10,547,500

OKC is at 15 players before the deal.
15 - 3 (KG / TD / PP) + 1 = 13 players after the deal.

Salaries are within 547,500 k so they work.

OKC accepts.
It's time to move on from our 3 HOF'ers, and start looking to the future. Green slides in perfectly at SG with Wall and Barnes. Again, he's another player who won't take shots away from Wall/Love but will lock down defensively and hit the open shot. He's locked into the same contract he signed IRL, so we like that as well. The picks are what make this deal though. Solid assets moving forward. Hate to see TD, KG, and PP go, but this move has to be made. Good dealing again AA!

Trade 53

Walla Walla - Brooklyn Inter Team Deal
In order to balance their roster with their goals - build a future for WWW and Win Now for the Nets -

Walla Walla will send Nic Batum $12.235M, Jared Sullinger $2.269 and Kosta Koufos $3M ($17.504 total); to
Brooklyn for Alec Burks ($8M), Evan Turner ($7.5M) and Joel Embiid $2.521M ($18.021 total)

Brooklyn Brings in a quality wing in Batum who is a great facilitator and wing defender and who is capable of having big offensive nights. While Nic would rather orchestrate the game, when needed he can be a force coming off pick and in the open court. In Jared and Kosta - the Nets bring veteran presence to back up positions that will pay dividends as they find themselves in close our sitations in the playoffs. Great Dealing Blazer50! You make terrific trades

Warriors Accept - We don't want to get into a bidding war for Nic's inconsistent offense and feel like Alec Burks has really come in to his own. He has always had the tools and the game finally seems to have slowed down for him and he had shown great strides in his efficiency and on the defensive end in the past year. Turner has always been a contributor and an elite rebounder as a wing - just suffers from being a top pick in his draft year. Finally, this deal came down to acquiring Joel Embiid - who we feel could have played in the last year but was sidelined by Hinkle's folly in Philly. All the reports is he is taking this rehab very seriously and he was still showing the skills that got the Olajuwon comparisons in the past. Roll the dice, but Embiid will be worth the risk. Great Deal Scott!

Miami Receives:
Jeremy Lamb - $3,034,356
Kyle Anderson - $788,872
Danny Granger - $5,747,500
---
TOTAL: $9,570,728

Walla Walla Receives:
Sam Dekker - $788,872
Carlos Delfino - $2,500,000
Miami 2016 2nd
---
TOTAL: $3,288,872

Miami has cap space to absorb.

Miami does this deal to upgrade some assets - Dekker and a 2nd - into Lamb and Anderson, who are both nice young players we like. We hate to give up on Dekker, and he could have a bright future, but we didn't feel he was enough of an asset right now, as he hasn't really played much yet.

We agree to use most of our remaining cap space to take on Granger's awful deal as the impetus to get Walla Walla to the table, as they get a lot of financial relief here.

Good dealing Scott!

Warriors accept. Lamb and Anderson are both promising player but neither have all star ceilings. Dekker is probably a rotation stretch PF but could be very good. And we get a 2nd. While still moving Granger for an expiring Delfino. Good dealing Old School

Hawks get:
CHI 2016 unprotected 1st
VBP 2016 unprotected 1st
VBP 2017 2nd
David Lee- $10,493,680 (exp)
Courtney Lee- $5,675,000 (exp)

Tim Hardaway Jr- $788,872 / $915,243

Miami accepts. Lee fits better in Atlanta, and although we still believe Tim Hardaway Jr. has promise, we think Oubre has more and we also get a nice asset in a cheap and good PG in Mills. We take on Kaman's deal to make the money work and as incentive for Atlanta to include multiple assets(Oubre and Mills). Good dealing!

Glad we could work this out. We still love reuniting the Lopez bros, as their chemistry is great and the complement each other well. Very happy with our new starting 5.

Knicks accept. We like both players in the deal, but we also wanted to re-stock some draft assets. Good dealing.

Oklahoma City Raiden & Brooklyn Nets agree to terms:

OKC out / BKR in:

2017 MCC First
2017 DAL First
CJ Miles - 2,500,000 | | | 2,500,000
Harrison Barnes - $3,873,398 | | | QO
Moe Harkless - $2,894,059 | | | $4,045,894

Total: $ 9,267,457 x 1.25 = 11,584,321 > incoming

--------------------------------------------------------------

Nets out / RAIDEN in:

DeMarr Derozan - $9,500,000 | | | $9,500,000
Ed Davis - $1,000,000

Total: $10,500,000

OKC accepts -

Derozan is an all star, signed cheaply, and gets better every year. He will take pressure off of Wall and Love (he's a 24 PPG scorer in 45% shooting), and give us our 4th all star in our line up. Hate to loose Barnes, but D-Ro is well worth it. Good dealing Scott.

OKC goes from 14 players to 13. BRK goes from 13 players to 14. All teams stay within roster numbers.

Sixers get:
Paul Millsap $8,000,000
Kyle Korver $2,000,000
2016 CHI 1st
2017 ATL 1st
2018 ATL 1st
Total = 10M

Hawks get:
Derrick Favors- $11,500,000 / $11,500,000 / $11,500,000
Brain Roberts- $1,000,000
Total = $12,500,000

Money works with 1.25%
10 X 1.25% = 12.5

Hawks accept. This was tuff. I know it's an overpay but I really wanted Favors & this helps me finically. Good dealin Dan.
