Memphis accepts. Lillard and Conley are a bad fit. We like Batum a lot and get some good depth in Burks and Ulis. I think this gives us a really great defense.

Golden State Warriors out/Los Angeles Lakers in

Kevin Durant $35,000,000 $36,750,000 $38,150,000 $39,725,000 (PO)
Ian Clark $12,000,000 $12,000,000 $12,000,000 $12,000,000 $12,000,000

Total: $47M

Golden State Warriors In/Los Angeles Lakers out

Paul George: $19,508,958 | | | $20,703,384 (PO)
Andre Iguodala: $15,000,000 | | | $16,000,000 | | | $17,000,000 | | | $18,000,000 (PO)
Dirk Nowitzki: $12,000,000 | | | $12,540,000
T.J. McConnell: $1,014,746 | | | $1,088,038

Total: just about $47M. Money easily works

Warriors accept. We hate trading KD and Clark after they re-signed but part of the reason willing to give Clark a big salary was to trade him for matching purposes. We lose a great in KD but bring back an All-NBA caliber replacement in Paul George then get some depth for our team in Dirk, Andre, and TJ. Good dealing NESS. Never thought you were going to give in on a trade.

Cavs Trade - Tristan Thompson, 2020 Cavs 1st - $15,330,435

Knicks Trade - Taj Gibson, Omri Casspi - $18,600,000

Money works, Cavs are under the cap.

Cavs make this deal for 2 reasons, we really like Gibson and add a depth player in Casspi.

Nice dealing.

Lakers and Spurs

Lakers out / Spurs in:

Ian Clark: $12,000,000 (same for 5 years total)

Total: $12,000,000 x 1.50 (non tax payer) = $18,000,000 > incoming

--------------------------

Spurs out / Lakers in:

SAS 2019 2ND
CLE/ORL 2019 2ND
SAS 2020 2ND
DET 2020 2ND
Pau Gasol: $16,197,500

------------------------------

Salaries work.

Lakers accept.

Needed a starting caliber PF, and Gasol fits in perfectly with my plan. The seconds are icing on the cake. I like Clark and his contract is similar to Jordan Clarkson's, but I need to balance my roster. Good dealing Kendon!

trade 107

Lakers Fleece Blazers - Ness Says Yes

Blazer made an offer they were sure Lakers would reject and he could get all pissy with them - But Ness said Yes - Rats!

Portland sends Buddy Hield ........... $3,675,480 .. $3,833,760(TO) .. $4,861,208(TO) .. $6,484,851(QO)
Julius Randle .......... $4,149,242 .. $5,564,134(QO)
Nerlens Noel ......... $25,000,000, $26,875,000 .. $28,750,000 .. $30,625,000 .. $32,500,000 (PO)]
Total Out - $32.824M; to
LAL for
Wesley Matthews ...... $17,884,176 .. $18,622,514 (PO)
Derrick Favors ......... $12,000,000

Blazer upgrade their SG and PF position for the cost of an over priced - injury prone Nerlens Noel. We are confident that both Wes and Derrick will return to form after injuries (2 year after Wes' Achilles). Both had pre injury performance with outstanding efficiency after the all star break in 2017. We are always willing to work with proven producers versus potential guys. Just should have asked for more. good luck Ness

Well this kind of just fell in my lap. Sometimes you have to take a huge step backwards to take two steps forward. We like the young bucks here, and we know the title is going to GSW again, so we preparing for a run in the very NEAR future, not right this second. Hate to see Favors & Wes go in the same deal, but now we have more pieces to play with! Good dealing Scott!

Trade108

Blazers and SuperSonics come to Terms

Portland sends Cameron Payne ....... $2,203,440 .. $3,263,294 (TO) .. $4,539,242 (QO)
Solomon Hill ......... $11,747,073 .. $12,252,928 .. $12,758,781
Dario Saric ............. $2,422,560 .. $2,526,840(TO) .. $3,481,986(TO) .. $4,791,212(QO);
$17.4M

to Seattle for
SEA for John Henson ...... $11,422,536 .. $10,577,466 .. $9,732,396
Kyle Anderson .......... $2,151,704(RFA )

$14.574M X 1.5 > $17.4 deal works

Hey - Ness asked for Solomon Hill - he does have an uncommon love for Julius Randle - It made all warm and fuzzy. Had to strike while the iron was hot. Love Henson and Slo Mo - good dealing Ness. Don't pay any attention to those haters.

Lakers out / Thunder in:

Pau Gasol: $16,197,500
Julius Randle: $4,149,242 | | | $5,564,134(QO)
Jordan Hill: $2,000,000 | | | $2,450,000

Thunder out / Lakers in:

Lakers accept.
We get a talented PF who we know fits with this squad. Him and Noel are going to be tough to score on (rim protection and rebounding) and tough to defend (running the floor like gazelles). Good dealing again TonySnell!

Accepted. The thunder trade Ibaka for depth. And we don't have to pay him 30 mil per year any more. We love Randle and don't view him as all that much of a downgrade from Ibaka. And getting a solid vet like gasol is always a good thing. Pleasure dealing Ness!
