It's all going to depend on where we land in the draft and who we take, because we wouldn't deal him without securing a PG.

Already offered this package but what do the Suns think about Faried, Mudiay and a 2018 1st?

No interest in Faried. Limited interest in Mudiay. It would likely have to include 2017 first, Harris and maybe Nelson or something like that.

Cavs will keep caphold for Korver

Frye, Shumpert, Jefferson, pick swap possibility in 2018 and 2020, CLE 2021 1ST for Melo?

We could absorb the Tyson Chandler contract and add somebody (Barton?!) as well

You still have an early 2nd (currently #34) while adding a young SG who never was able to get consistent playing time in Milwaukee. His shooting form is smooth and fluid but I think he could use a change of scenery at this point since Kidd seems really quick to pull him when he makes the slightest mistake.

We will only have one 2nd rounder (2017 PHI 2nd #34). If we retain our own 1st rounder, our 2nd rounder (#38) is routed to Chicago along with our 2018 2nd. If we lose our 1st rounder, we keep out 2017 and 2018 2nds. I really like Vaughn, but he wouldn't be able to find very many minutes on our team. We have:
Hield (our starting SG; gets a lot of minutes)
Galloway (really trying to convert to PG)
Temple (will primarily play the 2 & 3, PG in a pinch)
Afflalo (plays better as a SF)
Malachi Richardson (Needs development minutes. Could be solid. Plays most SG.)
possibly even Ben McLemore (finished year strong, SG. We may keep him)
and then
Bogdan Bogdanovic (we will try to lure him over this season, SG)

As you can see, we have a LOT of wings and not enough minutes to go around. Of course, Afflalo would be going out in a trade for Delly and Vaughn, but I see him being just another wing that could take minutes away from the other guys. Vaughn would have to be re-routed unfortunately.

EDIT: spelling.

Let's just touch base after the draft order is set and we can move forwrd from there. I do like the basis of Delly for Afflalo as a starting point.

Yes. I think bringing in a third team will be necessary, but if the cards fall where they need to we may have a deal on the horizon.

In addition to you first offer? No thanks. I have zero interest in really any of those assets in the first offer. They do nothing for the Suns. I'm not even necessarily looking to move Chandler. At least not yet.

Nets

Nets are thrilled with Kenny Atkinson, he will remain head coach,

-Nets renounce the rights to Randy Foye,
-Nets waive the non gauranteed contract for Sean Kilpatrick
-Nets Decline the team option on KJ McDaniels

Sean Marks:

"It is tough to let go of guys who were so close to the organization and we thank them for all they contributed... but we felt we need o do right by the players. This move frees up roster spots for our draft picks but also allows Sean the ability to hit the market and get the money he is worth. Randy played a huge role as a mentor, but its a crunch to find the roster room with all the young players and picks we have now. We think KJ can be a real player in this league and wanted to give him the opportunity to find a place were he can find a bigger role for himself.

-Nets have made it public they will persue a trade on draft day to move brook lopez for a first round pick.
-Nets have made it public they will persue a trade on draft day to move Justin Hamilton for a top 55 protected 2nd round pick.
-Nets have made it public they would move trevor booker in an attempt to clear salary.
-Nets have made it public they are willing to take on salary in order to obtain more picks in both the 2017 and 2018 drafts

Any interest in either of the following deals?

1. Henson and 2018 Lottery Protected 1st for Boston's Pick (currently #27)
or
2. Henson and Milwaukee's 1st (currently #18) for Boston's Pick (#27)

The Kings would like to explore trade options for Kosta Koufos.

Arron Afflalo is possibly up for grabs as well. Already have a pretty decent offer for him depending on how the draft lottery pans out.

Looking for youth and picks. We can work with movement in the draft as well. This is a feeler and would like to have options leading up to the draft.

Nah, I like Frazier as a cheap potential back up. Sorry!

Fair enough. What about Hawes and #48 for Ajinca and #40? Bucks move up 8 spots in the 2nd while the Pelicans dump salary in 2018-19.

Edit: This would be contingent on Hawes opting in for next season.

Toronto claims Sean Kilpatrick Off Waivers.

Toronoto is willing to trade Bruno Caboclo for a top 55 protected pick. DeMarr Carroll is made available. Both Valanciunas and Corey Joseph are made available at the right price.

Bulls would like to register interest in Cory Joseph. No offer for now, but keep us in mind if you get offers before the draft

The Bucks also have interest in Joseph if we can move Delly in a separate deal before the draft. What is your current asking price for him? Are you looking for a young player, future draft pick or simply to clear some cap space?

In general the Toronto Raptors are looking for usefull players locked into cheap contracts. Having more than one year on that deal is helpful but not a requirement. In Corey Joseph's case we're be looking either for pick(s) or forwards.

Nets would like to reach out to the celtics in a deal that would be centered around Lopez for Crowder or Bradley

The Toronto Raptors are inquiring about the availability of Jae Crowder. The Raptors are willing to offer Jonas Valanciunas straight up.

Everyone not named Cousins and Davis are on the block. We're ideally trying to clear cap and willing to attach picks. We need basically everything.

Also, we privately call Ewing about a head coaching spot but likely get denied.

Edit: We also elect to keep Holiday's cap hold and encourage our entire organization to pray to whatever God they believe in in the hopes we get our pick this year.

Ewing stays with his decision to coach Georgetown. Are you keeping Gentry?

I am curious about this game having read through this thread. I thought the point of this was to try to predict what the team would do in the actual off season. It seems like a lot of teams are just going crazy and unrealistic like a normal GMAT.
